I admit I was kinda hoping for Spyro, but I absolutely lost it when they shown Ridley, even though it initially looked like another Subspace Emissary-like mode.

My God, this game has completely blown my expectations out of the water.

the only promblem I have so far is that rage might be coming back

A few things I've noticed on the website:

-Meta Knight has a Galacta Knight pallet!
-We saw Lyn and Waluigi as Assist Trophies probably to squash any rumors about them being playable, but in Robin's video on the site, there is no Final Smash, unlike many of the characters from the newer games. Maybe Chrom is coming and Robin is getting a new Final Smash?
-No Final Smash for Young Link, but one of the screenshots features the moon from Majora's Mask. Maybe his Final Smash is the moon crashing into the stage, since Link has the Ancient Arrow and Toon Link retains Triforce Slash. A Termina stage is also likely.
-Zero Suit Samus has less titty. Good.

Is it just me or does Lucario's proportions seem really off in the in-game screenshots? Seems like he's gone on a diet since Smash 4. XD

I’m probably gonna play Pokémon Trainer a lot.

Btw have fun people who want to make a tier list.

Despite being my favorite of the 3, I'm probably use Charizard the least out of them. Squirtle and Ivysaur will be fresh again, but Charizard weaned on me a bit in Smash 4. Still love him, but I feel as if I've been spoiled by Pokken Charizard (I both love Smash and Pokken Lucario though)


Regardless, that least is still a ton, I just expect a lot of Ivysaur and especially Squirtle in my Smash future.

They know their audience, clearly.

gameplay looks like smash 4 with a few extra stuff added in that doesn't make that much of a difference. and byo destroys Ridley because he's so big lol

Ok, some stuff I’m noticing in the character videos:
-A new stage based on New Donk City
-Samus froze Yoshi then blew him up, KOing him instantly
-Yoshi’s Up Special seemed to bounce
-Kirby’s dash attack is fiery now
-Krystal from Starfox is an assist trophy
-Ness’ final smash seems to come from mostly the center, while Lucas’ seems to come from all over the top, towards the stage
-Jigglypuff has faster attacks. Oh my god. They buffed the puff.
-The background changes during all the final smashes I think
-Peach uses Toad in her grabs
-As for the Ice Climbers, Nana didn’t try grab when Popo did.
-Also, Popo flies on a Pterodactyl(?) during the final smash
-Pichu is adorable but still most likely low tier
-I’m gonna hate fighting Marth even more now
-Ganondorf has big swords for his smash attacks, potentially giving him longer range
-He can also take multiple hits during Warlock Punch
-Game and Watch basically drags everyone offstage for his final smash
-Wario’s dash attack is a shoulder dash
-Snake’s final smash is a missile barrage that hits everyone
-Ike’s eruption has farther reach
-Knuckles is an assist trophy
-Dedede can inhale his Gordos and spit them out again
-Olimar’s page has it spelt “Olimer”
-All three Pikmin grab instead of just one
-Lucario’s up special no longer has that thing where he lands on the ground and takes a second to get up
-Eevee is a Pokéball mon again, so there goes that rumor
-Villagers net can be used as a Pocket
-Rosalina’s Down Special automatically equips things that can be equipped (jetpack, bunny ears, etc)
-Her final smash draws people towards it
-Little Mac can change the direction of his Neutral Special while charging
-His KO Uppercut seems to be a jumping uppercut
-Greninja’s shadow during Shadow Sneak show his eyes glowing red
-Pac Man’s side B has an afterimage
-His trampoline breaks after a second use?
-Bowser Jr’s down tilt can eat food
-Ryu hit’s people with fire before his close range final smash
-When Bayonetta grabs you, she really just holds you in place with magic
-Ridley is just brutal. I love it

Some of these you probably know already, and some might not even be new, but it’s just some stuff I noticed.

im not the biggest fan of characters living past 150%. judging from the gameplay it looks really fun and speculating it is a blast
