Just a bit, I still think it looks much more moody and cool looking. Try stronger small lines rather than low opacity the closest it is to the source. Here's a detail from a recent-ish piece I did:

Everything near the hoof-thingy' glow has very strong lines on the edges, and the far lines are very faded and blurry. I overdid it a little because the character has very smooth skin, but even with fur and whatnot, you can get a similar effect by making it more irregular.

edit: other picture was a super page stretch.

Oh my gosh SpyroLuva!! Your needlefelting artworks are amazing!! I never really thought to make pictures out of felt, I'd always just use it for modelling. Man, you're so great!

And yeah Zap, your binturong is so cool. You give him so much character, and I love how scruffy he looks!

Trix, your paintings are so amazing! I don't know how to explain it, but I love the way you paint. It feels sort of like ... oils paintings or something? I don't know, it's just really nice and smooth. Love your otter, and the owl is fantastic!!

Ahhh, and Paris, you're trying digital art out!! I really like the way you've drawn this character haha, especially the stubble and the floofy hair. cx

I use the gaussian blur and tilt shift function on Photoshop! They can both be found in Filter > Blur menu.
The background, foreground and cat were all on seperate layers at first so I used the gaussian blur on the foreground and background.
Hope that helps??

Alright, I’ll have to see if my drawing program has that! I know I’m going to have to invest in Photoshop or something similar sooner or later, but I’ve been putting it off for as long as possible. smilie Thank you!
