The Infinity War topic died out and kinda went off-topic in some posts, so here's my attempt at something.

You guys know the drill for spoilers.

Future movies that have been officially confirmed (which as of now are Captain Marvel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Avengers 4 and Spider-Man 2) don't count as spoilers. Unconfirmed movies probably do, though.

For example, while Black Panther 2 and Doctor Strange 2 are almost certainly going to happen, they have not been officially announced by Marvel Studios.

Alright, go nuts.

I just watched Infinity War yesterday with friends, and I haven't seen the the rest of the movies because they're not exactly something I'm in to, but ...
Isn't publically accounting these sequels just confirming that the characters who died won't even stay dead? Doesn't that just ruin all the suspense and emotion? I mean, you'd probably have to announce the sequels beforehand for reasons that I'm completely unaware of, but it still just completely ruins the story.

In my opinion, that actually creates even more drama. We know they're coming back, but how? That's the real fun.

This is a possibility

Avengers 4 predictions:

People say either Cap or Tony is going to die, I say both. Cap in direct combat with Thanos (his last words: "I can do this all day") and Tony by some form of self-sacrifice.

I think Vision is permanently dead. Loki has to come back somehow. Gamora's 50/50.

No. It'll die out.

I know it's not really my call to make, but I'm making it anyway.

Vision is definitely dead, I think. I mean, if I remember correctly, Thanos didn't just remove the stone - he ripped out a fair chunk of Vision's forehead. That's a lot of damage. I'm pretty sure Loki is gone, too, though. Thanos even makes a joke about how he won't be coming back this time, hinting that it could have finally been the end for him. But I could be wrong. And you're right in saying Gamora is a 50/50. I could honestly see it going either way.

I want Loki to be dead. What I meant by that is I don't see them permanently killing him off.

Also, word on the street is that Mysterio will be the villain in the next Spider-Man movie, and Michael Keaton will reprise his role as Vulture. This is most likely setting up the Sinister Six.

I believe the Russos have confirmed that Loki and Helmdall are both perma dead.

It smells like a new car in here, Mr. Stark.

I'm glad Thanos continued a trend of good-great villains, I hope he ends up going out well. Don't Snoke him.

One of my biggest concerns was that it would end at basically a stalemate with him killing Cap and maybe Hawkeye but everyone just regrouping. But I'm genuinely shocked and impressed they killed off half of the cast.....And universe, even though most will totally be back in A4. Know what would have made it cooler, though? Not getting told about it beforehand(thanks jerk on toy forum).

What wasn't spoiled thankfully was the end credits scene. During the credits I thought it was a missed opportunity to have Fury in it somewhere so seeing him was a genuine surprise. If only Coulson could have joined him.....

I was a bit sad Hawkeye and Ant-Man weren't in the film, but I'm sure A4 will rectify it.

All the deaths actually hit hard, Bucky and Groot especially.....but I almost teared up at Peter's death, him being absolutely terrified and begging not to let it happen.

Now....I want merchandise! smilie

I don't feel so great.

Yeah, I wasn't really familiar with many of the characters, but I almost cried at Peter's death too.

I don't know why I'm even talking about this movie.

I hope Spidey keeps the Iron Spider armor in his future movies.

When I saw Homecoming I didn't like the idea of him relying so much on tech, but I warmed up to it as the movie went on. He's proven himself to be more than just the suit, and therefore has earned to right to wear the Iron Spider armor. And from the battle scenes in IW, he knows how to use it pretty damn well. I'm interested to see where it goes.
