You would be in a JRPG, grinding exp, increasing your charm stat and attempting to come up with the perfect pickup line after 100+ hours in an effort to win HIHD’s love.

Then he’ll say no and the final boss is the realization you might have gone too far.

Definitely a sort of game that has a big cinematic story with animated cut scenes, but still has a combat system that isn't turn based. You still get to run around and slash stuff and do things your way...I'm thinking something similar to Dark Cloud 2.
