Honestly, what an amazing thing to see.

I just hope people don't also forget the amount of suffering N. Korea citizens have faced and that this new found peace will hopefully cause Kim Jong Un to decide to improve conditions for his citizens and not be so much of a dictator.

I understand why Trump will keep pressure. We don't want North Korea to back out of this agreement.

Frankly, I think Trump and many Americans are celebrating too soon.

If Kim is indeed serious about denuclearization (and that's a big if), he won't give us something for nothing; he will expect major concessions from us as well as South Korea. The Obama administration was unwilling to make those concessions, and thus I think it's highly unlikely that the Trump administration will be.

Also, remember that this treaty has yet to be drafted, let alone signed.

Don't get me wrong, this is still a huge step forward, but nothing will be final until Kim meets with Trump and signs a treaty with Moon.

We're not out of the woods yet.

It really seems too good to be true tbh, but either way history has been made and seeing the two leaders hugging and shaking hands is a big deal in itself. I just wonder if North Korea has an ulterior motive here. I do really hope this is genuine, though. His people have suffered under his rule for long enough, and he owes them a better life.
