Back in Emerald, this guy just LOVED using double team, almost like it was his hobby. I didn't have Rayquaza at the time, so that just made it even MORE annoying.

Now, I'm not gonna lie, ghost is my favorite type. But this guy belonged to Phoebe and caught poor Blaziken off guard with an earthquake. I sent out Rayquaza, but then the jerk used ice beam...


PORYGON-Z
This mofo was responsible for one of the few times I lost to a lowly trainer. How? Well, a certain veteran in Victory Road had this guy. It got 3 CRITICAL HITS IN A ROW. It was eventually taken down, but then Tangrowth finished me off. I DID come back and beat him, though. I'll still remember him as the guy with that one Porygon-Z.

Cynthia's Garchomp, Colress' Klinklang are what come to mind.

I used a master ball on an Absol in Ruby because I thought he was a roaming legendary

When I used to try and play "competitive" Chansey used to always wall off my entire team and EVERYONE had one. I eventually just made a scizor to specifically kill them.

One time, during the X and Y catching tutorial a Shiny Bunnelby showed up. I can't look at one since.

That one miltank in Gold/Silver that kept spamming rollout at you

Shuckle - I once had a hard time beating one in the Battle Factory in Emerald as it knew Substitute, Attract, Toxic and Double Team.

Dratini - Even though it's one of my favourite Pokemon, I'll never forget the time I found a shiny one on PoGo during a community day and it turned into a non-shiny because I caught it just as the event ended. It was the first shiny I ever found in that game and Dratini family's shiny forms are some of my favourites, so I was really bummed out.

Basculin - I've been trying to get a shiny one for ages and every time I find one from chain fishing, it eventually kills itself with Final Gambit or Double Edge. It doesn't help that it has a low catch rate for some reason.

Omastar - I was getting sick of seeing Twitch Plays Pokemon memes everywhere.

Bibarel - They're just far too common in DPPt and most of times when I break a Pokeradar chain, that Pokemon would appear.

Feebas - I'm sure everyone who has played RSE would agree that finding one was a real pain.

Farfetch'd.

and kommo-o. **** that ****ing totem kommo-o

Steelix. Mostly from Pokémon Ranger, but also that one time where it wouldn’t die in a 64 turn battle.
Sunflora. Mostly from Explorers of Sky.
Hippowdon, because I couldn’t get past that thing in DP when I was young because I only used Infernape, Dialga and a bunch of meatshields.
Bidoof because GOD DAMN IT I’M TRYING TO POKÉRADAR HERE!
Venomoth and Silver Wind in Sky Tower, my partner was a Treecko.
Cresslia because at least Grovyle could do stuff and didn’t die constantly.
Mew because... sigh... Buried Relic.
Regice because it gave me paranoia and I still can’t find it’s shiny. Or maybe I did.

Can't ban Pikachu though. But they can ban the duck that's right next to him, no one cares about the duck.

No idea why Porygon-Z was never allowed anything but a few pictures along with it, though. It's so removed from the first stage's design that no parent would even remember.

I should add: Pyrce made me so mad, that instead of catching a Pokémon that could counter it, I went out and bought a gameshark (I think that was the name for the DS cheating device) just so I could cheat, catch the Piloswine and use it for my own purposes.
