I've been on dS for more than three thirds of it's existence. I have made freaking hundreds of serious topics in s&n and I can tell you the site has always been like this and always will be. hell, anyone who was here between 2009-2012 will tell you loads of stories about the political and religion wars that were everything here 10x.

I don't know why everyone is making such a fuss about it.
