The Parkland shooter is getting money and nudes

Hey, guys... maybe don’t blast the image and name of the person who murdered a bunch of kids, lest weird **** like this happens. You’re just giving future psychopaths more reason to kill even more innocent people.

I know I would never want to **** someone who shot a bunch of kids, much less give them money or nudes.

i mean the same thing happened with columbine so im not surprised

What would happen if someone an anchor on FOX, CNN, etc. called him a terrorist on live television? It feels like news media is so fragile, it'll collapse on itself if one of their one says "white terrorist".

people do this to serial killers too. gary ridgeway, the green river killer, receives tons of fan mail a year. it is not advised to send people like mass shooters and gary ridgeway nudes and fan mail because all it does is boost their ego.

you see, serial killers are the type to thrive off of this stuff and once they realize that they can use it to their advantage, they will. for example there was a serial killer by the name of Micheal Ross who wrote pieces in two newspapers saying that the death penalty was unjust, weather or not he did think this way was unclear. criminologists speculate that he only wrote the pieces because he wanted to control his own fate. John Douglas a criminal Behavior scientist and FBI agent, who wrote Mindhunter and The Anatomy of Motive, state that "Guys like Ross like to call the shots one way or another."

as for mass shooters, they're more of an assassin type, but similar to serial killers, they don't like to be controlled.

yeah, school shooter, serial killers, terrorists, they always wind up with these reactions to it. there's always those cray cray "fans."

some just make the headlines more.

the two biggest ones i can think of off the top of my head are the colombine guys and the guy who shot up the premiere of the dark knight rises

ppl do that with serial killers too
its really ****ed up, but also kinda psychologically intriguing
