Well yeah, there's really no point for its existence anymore, if there ever was.

You can find pretty much every toy at a regular department store or online. Usually for cheaper, too.

That’s so upsetting! My brother and I used to save up our allowance for months, and then go on a massive ToysRUs shopping spree. Even though I don’t live near one anymore, I’m gonna miss it.

I heard about this a few months ago. I wasn't surprised per se, but it is pretty sad for the kiddos.

with service like amazon, there's really no need for a lot of stores, actually. probably definitely not toy stores. I think the strangest part will be speaking of Toys R Us in past tense, because it has been around before any of us were born.

now, in that article it mentioned JCPenny and Macy's, which I also have been hearing about, but PLEASE do not shut those store chains down...! T_T

one by me started liquidation last month, and will be dead by early april. i'm going today so the sales should be pretty good

Online, sure (but usually not cheaper after shipping), but regular department stores have nowhere near the selection that Toys R Us has.

Walmart's the best place to do it. The threshold for when the staff members finally stop you is way higher than other places.
