...hello kitty has not gotten a live action movie, or a new anime, or anything... :-(

it has been a decade since the last hello kitty animation, yet blues clues, strawberry shortcake and my little pony have all had new series.

we have not even had any new information on this...

I love hello kitty/sanrio and it will always be hype, but I miss the cute little cartoons. I hope they make a new one, or say something more about the movie...

I thought Hello Kitty was more about being a brand than having a series? Not saying a cartoon shouldn't exist, just... she doesn't need one to be popular or relevant. Like, I've seen Japan making new figures and things related to Hello Kitty & Sanrio, and Hello Kitty & Pikachu were made ambassadors for Osaka. (Though that was mostly a ploy to try to host World Expo 2025)

I know, that's what I meant that she'll always be hype, but she deserves a cartoon. mlp was mostly a brand and then got a cartoon. hello kitty has had, like five, though, so maybe that's why, lol. I don't think she NEEDS one, I just thought the old ones were cute, and I would love to see a new one in modern times. the last one was 2006, and that was cgi, actually.

I know, I heard that one, and i'm not sure what to think about that, lol. I mean, i'll accept that, but I would like to hear it from yuko shimizu, who was the woman who originally designed hello kitty. she didn't stay with the company, but I would like to hear if that is what she or the staff at sanrio had in mind from the beginning.
