Because it's comfy, my dog (Some one I mentioned in the worst year topic) would often sleep on his back. It was adorable.

Cats are lazy, they stretch and roll and don't want to get a better position since it's so comfy. Ever get your hand under a pillow or something but you were too tried to care about it getting sore later? Like that.

Love him until he stops attacking.

My kitty didn't like me petting her belly and used to swat me to stop. Too bad. Now she doesn't even care anymore because I just constantly flip her over and give her a good pet.

note: do this with kitties or young cats, not with older ones
