Aside from the blatant Lion King rip-off ending, Maximus's theme wasn't too bad. Could use better lyrics, and definitely better animation, but the choreography was cool and the singing was pretty good.

ok! so i put thirty minutes aside to watch this...

here's what i think...

now, i have seen a lot of terrible movies, so nothing really surprises me. i've also watched old anime ovas, so i have had a major advantage on this. however, this is quite possibly the most stupid movie i have ever had the displeasure of knowing about.

first of all, i think the vegetarian lion is a stupid idea, but that's just me. both he and his mom are super stupid, and what she told him to do is uber stupid, and he's more uber stupid for listening to that, but whatever.

as soon as the elephant, savannah, appeared i knew that we were getting weird lion+elephant getting their freak out on.

the entire cast was pretty much pointless and the majority of them did nothing apparently.

the "slow motion" stuff is, quite honestly, freaky as hell.

leo is a kidnapper, which is great.

weird zebra rape, which is obviously greaat.

the weinstein joke was hilarious, btw.

unless i missed something, i didn't understand what the point in the heart of the jungle was supposed to be. it took a back seat to the leo, savannah, maximus freaky love triangle thing, so i don't know why it was a thing at all.

songs were stupid, animation was stupid.

scooby doo was the right ending for it.

i knew it, weird elephant+lion sex for no reason.

really, really gay song at the end of the movie.

yeah, HIHD, you're right, worst movie, worst than the other popular "bad movies" right now. there was no quality at all, let alone bad quality.

i've typed this message in all lowercase letters so that i could match the ending credits.

The Lion King sequel we truly deserved

Rule of thumb for animated films:

If your star/a main character is a predator that's "Vegetarian" then it's probably gonna be a bad one. Examples Norm of the North and Shark Tale.

This movie is the prime example why you should never make your cat into a vegan.

Between the Zebra rape and the canonical elephant/lion sex (and the birthing noises at the beginning of the video that are likely identical to what the elephant/lion sex sounded like), I've never been more profoundly disturbed by an animated children's movie.

I wonder how long the movie feels. The review itself is 25 minutes, but it feels like a 32 minute review.

but the thing is, thats in a world outisde of our own and therefore any logical rules would be thrown out the window. leo the vegan lion or whatever takes place in our world and therefore should follow suit with the rules.
