4 years later, and my parents still don't know I browse dS. They absolutely hate social media, so they'd be mad if they found out, probably.

They always say it lets people see all your personal information and crap, but as far as I know, everyone here doesn't even know my age, first name, or any other fact that would allow them to identity me. For all you guys know, I might have talked to one of you before elsewhere and you wouldn't even know.

Like... how much do you know about me? Not my birthday, age, name, or even what my favourite videogame is. You know barely anything about me.

I haven't watched in a long time except for small clips, but wtf? Looking at screenshots and its anime artwork, they look very much like a model with cel shading to keep its shape.

Wow, that's not very nice. I've seen students lose their work due to accients(usually tripping on the building's doorframes), and our teachers usually will evaluate based on how good progress looked before being broken; bonus points if the student can fix most of it.

Well... I have no idea how I can get this to work. It looked great on paper, but when it comes to actually getting it done, it's harder than it looks. I have 13 elements to balance out, several healing abilities in a game where pretty much every attack is an OHKO or THKO, stat buffs/debuffs, and to top it all off, this is a Fes game that probably won't take more than 2 hours to 100% and hardly anyone will play it. As usual, I've thought up way too much than I can actually accomplish.

Not to mention literally all of Chapter 1 is just a long fetch quest, so between Prologue and Chapter 2, none of this will matter. And just how long will it be? So far, I have planned: Prologue, Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3. I've only just made the first battle of Prologue. In fact, I expect to fully give up on it by Part 2 or 3. I'll just upload whatever I've got done by then, I suppose.

Either way, I'm sure I can find ways to make this game as difficult as it is grim. Hopefully I'll be able to balance that much at least. Doesn't just have to be through combat, a game of hide-and-seek with a short time limit could be enough, or a puzzle that's near-impossible. There are many ways to make this as difficult as I want.

But really, I should have given up by now. Continuing on a futile task proves that I do not learn from my mistakes. Then again, it is still true that I am not in a good place right now, so I have very few options.

Well, it finally happened, twitter locked out pretty much everything for non-users. Does anyone know if twitter keeps prodding you with messages and emails if you give them the phone number but not install the app? Because I know they require the phone or they lock the account for "automated behavior".

That explains why I coulden't see posts on my phone and I try to keep away from Twitter, with it's dumb trending, and also because of my Ex-Boyfriend is there.

So I only played up to the first boss in Octopath as the warrior guy and, to be honest...

Think I've got all the chapters and overall story complete. It's quite short, so it shouldn't take too long once I've balanced everything. Chapter names (for anyone who might want to play this game, spoilers ahead):



So that's 6 chapters. I reckon each one will take about 15 minutes on average, for a total of about 90 minutes (1.5 hours). Furthermore, I expect each chapter (of 15 minutes) will take roughly 2 hours to make, and with about 5-7 more hours of testing and balancing, should take about 17-19 to make the whole thing.

17-19 hours of creation for 1.5 hours of gameplay. I'd say that's fair enough.

Also, things may change, since - as I said - I've only got about 5-10% of the game complete so far. If I've got enough data left after the main game is finished, I might add sidequests, a postgame, and an extra chapter.

Legit trying to get an answer here, since trying to look through twitter support is 'why am I banned' over and over.

I have less faith in Discordia than any other game I have (tried to) make so far, and in an odd kind of way, that motivates me. Like, I know it's going to be ****, so why bother? I've got nothing to worry about when it goes unnoticed. As long as I get the basics, I don't need to worry about quality.

Just gotta figure out how Void's skills work, then the rest should be a breeze. I think I should put more focus on puzzles and such this time anyway, maybe lessen the importance of combat. Its' main emphasis is on story anyway.
