I was supposed to post this during the new year, but I was too busy with work.

Has anyone else heard of this hit japanese TV show about a man who eats BY HIMSELF....?????

What do you think? Would you watch a two hour holiday special on New Years Eve?

I mean, if you understand the Japanese community and their customs, then it isn't as ridiculous as it would sound. The show is really about a man eating alone, and trying food, and you sit there and watch him eat it, with close ups of the food, and him eating it and stuff, and it is slightly uncomfortable, I think. XD

I didn't even have to click the link to know this would be Gorou Inogashira. Just why..... I mean, I know why, it's Japan, but just WHY.

It is apparently insanely popular. The Japanese actually view this man as a role model. It is always moments like these when you can really take note of cultural differences. This show would never have even gotten greenlit in america, or just about anywhere else for that matter.
