Finally leveled up all my adventurers in the EOV demo, now I'm debating what team to use. I'm currently thinking:

FRONTLINE:
Fencer
Rover
Harbinger
BACKLINE
Necromancer
Shaman

Pugilist had some good offensive skills as well as binds though, and I'm not sure if my idea of Prayer + Chase skills would work. So I'm still a little unsure.

The Harbinger is probably the least necessary member, so I don't really need her on my team. However, the debuff skills were quite useful, and the enemy-drawing skill (forgot its' name) was useful for EXP. Of course, grinding is always an option, but I'd rather get on with things quickly instead of grinding for the next floor.

There's also the ailment skills, but I'm not sure I'd use those, even if they are the class' main gimmick. Most of them rely on using a scythe, and I prefer giving my adventurers the strongest equipment possible and not building their equipment around their skills.

Their is likely going to be a definitive playstyle that would be better than the others, such as actually giving Harbingers scythes, but I'd rather play it my way. Same reason I always play Fire Emblem without thinking of definitive tactics and analysing stats beforehand - because it suits me and my playstyle better, even if it's not the easiest way.

SMO humans have a similar language to the nomads of Sahr from Pyre. CROSSOVER CONFIRMED

Not into Yo-Kai watch, but I admit I LOVE it's character designs, holy crap they're GREAT.

Wanna know why it's SO DAMN CLEVER?

It's pretty much Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer, but here's the thing, the rights to Rudolph are owned by (From what I can gather from a quick Google search) St. Nicholas Music Inc. If Level-5 wanted it to be Rudolph, they'd have to pay SNM money; instead they decided to instead take a really, really damn clever route of giving the character sun glasses, a fedora and trench coat. 3 pieces of wear that are commonly used to hide oneself in public (In media). So it's basically Rudolph in disguise, so the game won't get sued for copy right issues.

You know what's crazy? The idea of a video game having post-game content. Pretty much every game I've played in the past year has taken up more of my time AFTER I've beaten the game than when I was playing the main story. I have over 60 hours on both Final Fantasy XV and Breath of the Wild; FFXV took me 20 hours to complete the story, whereas BOTW took 30. And I've been playing Super Mario Odyssey a few hours each day since it came out, despite beating it not even 24 hours after picking it up. The Switch isn't showing me my play time yet but it's safe to say I've spent more time on this game after beating it than it took to complete the main story. Such a strange concept.

I feel like that's different. With Thoughts on Users, you just get the opinion of whoever happens to post next, and typically they're people who like you from what I've seen. With these topics you get to find out the general opinion of the people.

I know that game trophies are meaningless and hold no value in their own right but still I have this stupid urge to get them. I wish that these trophies would actually signify real skill development in the game but no. Instead of that they just measure how bored and patient enough you are to do tedious repetition until your fingers go numb with you not-learning a thing.

I decided to go with my second demo team for EOV:

FRONTLINE
Harbinger
Masuaro
Pugilist
BACKLINE
Necromancer
Shaman

Although my first team ended up with slightly better results (I recall storming through half of 3F before I even hit level 10), I think this one will do better in the long run. The front line have some very powerful offensive (and, in Harbinger's case, debuff) skills, and the backline can range from healing the team to defeating all enemies in one hit.

The Necromancer opens herself up to some very powerful skills, so long as I can focus on sacrificing Wraiths rather than trying to keep them alive. I mostly like to keep them for attacking enemies. It's kind of like micromanaging my own little army, I guess - Summon Wraiths, get them to attack the enemies, sacrifice them when their HP gets low to either heal the party or annihilate the enemy. Now, if only they weren't so damn slow...

I joined the FE franchise just as it turned to ****, it seems. I'm not talking about waifus - it's the crappy DLC practices, mostly. Echoes' season pass cost as much as the game itself, and I've heard Warriors have way too many DLC characters leaked already, no doubt FE16 will have even worse practices.

That's only mostly. If FE16 takes inspiration from Awakening and Birthright, then we'll be getting ****ty map design too. Birthright actually did have some good maps, including one of my favourites (if not my absolute favourite), but

Even if takes inspiration from Conquest instead, we'd still have a **** story. But at least we'd have memes this way, and better gameplay.

I think FE16 is more likely to take inspiration from Conquest, or at least not have as bad map design as Awakening. So that leaves DLC as my main concern, since the Echoes postgame is near-unbeatable without overclasses, apparently. And of course, the fact that the season pass costs as much as the game itself.

i got a new betta last night. his name is louie. all the bettas at petsmart were sick but he wasn't too bad off. he was just clamped and inactive. as soon as i put him in the tank he came to life.

IMO Operation Ground and Pound is a better song than Through the Fire and Flames. Although now that I've listened to TtFaF again, I can understand why it got popular, it was better than I remember. Heroes of Our Time is also pretty good, but much different to most songs on Inhuman Rampage and their other previous albums.

Miiverse ends in like 30 hours from now, I think. Everyone's gonna go ape**** - I've already seen hackers posting porn last night, as well as Nazi jokes, and I've heard many people are planning to do worse. It's gonna be total pile-of-**** mayhem.

if i ever made a game, it'd be an RPG where you have to recruit ancient god people to fight off an alien king or sorts. but the catch is it's all completely randomized. there'd be 100+ recruitables, but the game would randomly select which of them to put into the main story. no two people would have the same experience with said game. it'd be glorious.
