Thought the premiere was cute, but that's about it. Guess I've been spoiled by stronger premieres such as The Return of Harmony (which is among my favorite episodes in general).

Is it weird or not that she's paired with another purple dragon a tiny bit like a hero tail Ember who was in love with spyro and she have somehow a similar personality to cynder but other than that I liked the episode but please could they just stay away from making any undertale joke..I don't like undertale

Apparently the latest episode (The Cart Before the Ponies) was ****ing awful. I don't watch the show anymore, but what I heard was 100% cringe.

Mane6 acting like total assholes for the sake of "comedy" to the point where the CMC ALMOST GET KILLED and they don't care. Who ever wrote that episode can rightly go **** themselves. This is the sort of **** that I avoid American shows for.

Oh come on, don't you think that's a bit harsh to blame all American animation for seasonal rot. Every show like this goes through that. Why not just focus on the good episodes and remember why you fell in love with the show in the first place.

Also this is a show for little kids... NOOOT the best testament to writing in animation! Just sayin.

Y'know, you're dissing a lot of shows just by country, maybe this is starting to look like prejudice. One bad writer doesn't mean everyone is, it's not a plague.

But oh boy, I don't go to MLP sites anymore, and the general places I check still have the comments from last week. Kiinda curious to see how far it's gone.

I've mostly read fiction from the fandom, only watching the show when it airs. I may revisit the whole series, films, EQG and everything when the show sadly comes to a close.

I'm mostly curious about Emily Blunt's character Tempest Shadow just to see if she alludes to other Emily Blunt performances like Edge of Tomorrow or The Girl on the Train. I don't why I keep assuming to see a serious psychological drama in a film about colourful ponies.

Unfortunately, seeing Taye Digg's character has me saying "Oh dear..." because of the unfortunate implications. I think the series should just stop after season 7 and this movie and give the series a break before it really drives itself over a ditch.

So season 7 is off to a better start than season 6 tbh

In two more episodes, we'll be able to give a verdict on the main focus of the season, because so far, the season seems to be focusing on side characters, the with mane 6 being the 'side characters' in 3 out of 4 episodes so far.

I'm speculating if the season finale would give hints towards the upcoming movie, or if it would be completely separate with absolutely all of the setup being in the film itself.

That's months away though, we might even see a mid-season break again.

I'm surprised nobody has talked about the MLP movie on the rise. What's everybody's opinion on it?

Me, I just might check it out. I mean I was full-on brony years ago until I thought "Meh, it's a bit too much", but I still have a bit of interest in me to see this.

Judging by the swarm of activity this topic has seen over the past five months...

I'm excited for the film, and the potential implications on the show, but the spotlight for me has been taken by a certain Fanfiction series.

Ever since mid 2013, I've had a pony avatar 90% of the time, despite this, I don't make my entire life about the show. As I kinda need to be realistic. It doesn't stop me from trying to ponify all of my modifiable games though. Conquering the galaxy as an ancient race of warrior Pegasi is quite rewarding. Especially when everything works.

Things seem to change, fandom not as big as in 2011-12. Still a brony & ponies I like still like, watch the latest season but not much into and also forgot it was on. Hope next season will bring back into it and maybe could be the last.

Next season?

It's been confirmed that season 9 will be the final one. I haven't watched the show since season 4. I may catch up with it if I run out of anime. Kind sad but I hope it wraps everything up nicely.

While I am sad that the series is coming to an end, at least we won't have to worry about it being run to the ground. I hope G5 will be just as good if not better.

Nothing last. It sad it last season but have feeling it end and wouldn't go on like The Simpsons. Fandom not been active as in 2011-12 but still around, there good fan arts, fictions and animations sure will carry on. Always remember my favorite ponies they maybe about in fan-made stuffs maybe. Hope season 9 be great, aas for G5 wonder what that be like.
