There's a lot of adult jokes, mega spyro, I noticed I had to turn on captioning to notice them after the first episode.

-wheeze- I didn't even eat candy while binging that was a mistake.

Ok, I've only seen the first episode so far and while it seemed pretty average I'm super intrigued by the ending (and your spoilers, of course ).

Season 2 was amazing! Was defiantly worth it!

I think it's supposed to mean Uncle Merle's was rebranded, but then again the place is its own pocket universe. Existed for 20+ years as a diner, then became a restaurant for this one night, then became a diner again in this season, baaaaack into a restaurant every other episode.

Then it exploded and was fine the next day.

Episode 12 used the Wilhelm scream twice in, like, 5 minutes. I'm not sure if I should be impressed or disappointed. XD

well so far from what i heard from you guys is that season 2 is awesome.

Considering it's a single episode, it's probably deliberate, though I bet reviewers will grill the show for it.

*shrug* They have an entire year because production seems to be 10 months ish, more or less depending on how much extra characters and work from the looks of it.

edit: Also, trying to watch reviews/first impressions is torture. Coin-op, I love your content and all, but it takes bad effort to say "I don't think the show creators know anything about the games" just because Berserker(NOT Brock, NOT actual Goliath Drows) doesn't act like his kind does ingame.

I think I might take a breather from messing with the show content and reactions all at once on this weekend, I'm getting nitpicky and angry for nothing.

But is there even going to be a fourth season?
I get that the show and the games are two completely different things, and that the former has more chances to keep going than the latters but Season 2 already got budget cuts if I remember correctly.

I've yet to get that much into it (watching an episode a day) but I would be extremely sad if they just interrupted it after the third, of if they dropped it even sooner.

Coin-Op was always an odd one when it came to Skylanders. He clearly loves the series, but always got stuff wrong. He always referred to Skylanders pretty much as the game they came from

Drek, wouldn't worry about S3 too much, since it's well into animating - all scripts and voicework done. Cutting it would be a waste of resources and Netflix already ignored Activision's attempt of killing it through the budget cuts.

Do watch an episode a day, man. Season 2 is paced like something you should watch one episode at a time, and it really feels bad to just have the excitement deflate like a balloon after my binge.

As for Coin-op, yeah, I don't have a problem with the fact he doesn't remember anything from S1(no really it's all over that first impressions video), but knowing his memory isn't accurate and still making assumptions about the writing rustles my jimmies.

Yeah that really annoys me. Especially when the majority aren't even gimmick characters but calls em that anyways

I think that activison payed for the second season and for some reason they cut the budget.As I know Netflix is paying everything for season 3 so they might not have budget issues for that season + better promotion since activison didn't want to promote this season properly

Oh yeah definitely not watching more than one episode per day; I made this mistake with the first two seasons of Rick and Morty and I won't repeat it.

Glad to hear that Season 3 is safe and sound, but I'm still a bit concerned about future ones.
I haven't perceived much interest outside of this fandom, but it's pobably a wrong impression since Netflix seems to be willing to invest in it, at least more than Activision itself.

Gulper and Krankcase are probably going to happen with the big bois introduced, they're perfect to play off of Sprocket. But with Fiesta we'd have a character from every game, that'd be pretty awesome.

Finally I've gotten to season 2, and thus to Cynder' appearance ... tis awesome, though I wish Malefor looked less like Deathwing, and sounded a lot less like a cartoon-villain. Also, for the simple sake of it, I still ship SpyCyn, dont ask why, I just do .. canon or not.

Jim Cummings usually voices cartoon-villains, that is very much his thing, They actually wanted Mark Hamill, his original actor, but the whole Star Wars thing kept his schedule full.
