Personally I enjoy the topics where the OP asks a question, it provokes responses instead of just "look at this thing I found" or just a piece of news.

The OP makes questions one was a very fun one, I might make one in a few days, even.

Fun topics. I find AMA/Q&As to be fun so I'll post in them. What do people find fun, and fun enough to talk about? If we're not vocal about that then how can we possibly know the demand for something, unless someone comes up with Dishonored. Again. If there were some threads about Orks or worshipping Spyro, that'd get things going. Well for me it would anyway.

It's entirely possible that people have simply outgrown the site and found themselves elsewhere doing other things. Speaking for myself I'm far far too busy with real life and projects to frequently come here to see ****posting and ask threads. And the people I keep most in contact with from here I have means to speak to elsewhere (and in some cases they don't bother coming here anymore either).

As for ask threads I definitely believe that to be a problem since while an individual can have a lot of fun answering questions, they don't enjoy asking them to others. So you get a wasteland of ask topics that have few posts and end up being a snoozefest.

How to fix it? I don't know. The fact some of us have been here for over a decade in on itself is kinda abnormal and a miracle.

Most of the degenerates who'd talk about those sexual topics and get the most enjoyment out of it would be barred from such a section. And in the end would activity really spike because of a section that's inherently restricted and hidden to a large chunk of the userbase?

That'd be like saying increasing activity in The Hunting Grounds is the key to reviving the site.

can we have a section to post photos of gore and pirated content? i think that would really get things booming around here

We should make a topic about selling drugs, that would really work. Maybe even a topic where users can show their own drug collection, kinda like the Skylanders collection topic. Together with a "I Just Bought" topic and dark52's drug injection walkthroughs, the site would get back on track.
