I Actually like it, but WHY can't they make her black again?! It was inexcusably stupid for her to be made purple in DOTD given the plot importance of purple dragons, and though it's not so much of a problem since that's not part of Skylanders lore, she'd look so much better being black and red. Unless they plan to reveal that Spyro and Cynder are related. I'd prefer if Cynder were his mum (IDK why, I just really like the idea) but siblings works well too. Or cousins, whatever.

She wasn't ever black outside of the whole theme of a dark harbinger, she was dark greyish blue. Cynder is specifically stated to be "violet" and implied to be Undead corruption, which makes sense since Undead and Dark are associated with darker purples.

DOTD was just fan pandering, so doesn't count.

Different rig. TeamTO most likely can't use Alchemy's models for legal reasons, and even then, it's not what they use to render the show; it's expensive but efficient to recreate/redesign the model.
