Well, it's team based, but you can't communicate with your teammates, so you have to hope that they pull their weight instead of admiring flowers.

Not sure if "this way" is a Splatoon 1 command, but I've seen people play ranked hassle-free using just that on 2. Also using weapon sets to trap players rather than stuff that works best in Turf War.

Everyone talks about how great Ocean Man is, but I just liked the Goofy Goober Rock scene. As a kid, I never cared about Ocean Man, honestly.

Meanwhile, Goofy Goober Rock was always my favourite scene in the movie. I had the DVD release when I first watched it IIRC, and I kept replaying that specific scene over and over.

I didn't even know it was a parody of an actual song for several years.

I'm not a fan of Rick and Morty season 3 so far. Seems like it's forcing in the divorce drama and having characters acting out of character because of the divorce is not doing it for me. Hope the new jerry episode does it for me because it's written by the meeseeks episode guys.

Rickmancing the Stone was disappointing and boring. Didn't like it much at all.
Pickle Rick was really good. Probably my favorite so far.
Vindicators 3 was okay. Had some amazing characters though.

This game gets dark when you realize Darkrai tricks the main characters into almost commiting suicide. It gets really dark when you wake up the following night to find your partner staring out towards the sea on the cliff.

I got a spooky story I wrote. It's super short, but that's kinda the point. Here it is:

My wife hadn’t spoken to me for what seemed an eternity. When I left for work, she didn’t say goodbye, and, when I returned, she never greeted me the way she used to. Part of me knew she had stopped loving me, that our marriage was over. She was no longer the person she used to be. But I couldn’t seem to accept it and let her go. One day, after coming home from work to see her in bed as she had been days now, not even acknowledging my entrance, I decided I couldn’t live that way anymore. I walked over to her, gave her a hug, and kissed her on the forehead.
Then I pulled the plug.
The heart monitor went flat.

In all seriousness I'm kind of disappointed we haven't had another Pokémon main antagonist since Darkrai. Maybe Spike Chunsofts got complaints, but Bittercold and Dark Matter are just your prototypical "rawr i'm an evil spirit i hate everything" hate plagues. With any luck, we'll get a Gen VII MD game that gives us the Ultra Beasts and/or Necrozma as some frightening antagonists.

Sad thing is, you're right. Let's recap:
Skarmory and the legendary birds were angry at anything that invaded it's territory and the natural disasters
Groudon was just angry that it was awakened
Rayquayza was just mad you were in the sky
Gengar was a jerk
Team Skull... "redeemed themselves" by giving the Relic Fragment back
Dusknoir has an entire special episode as to why he's evil, then redeemed himself
Primal Dialga was insane
Darkrai got amnesia
Munna, Kyurem and the rest were just a suicide cult who took things way too far until your allies are like "Hey don't do that"
Gurdurr had his own tragic backstory
Scraggy was also a jerk
A heckton of Pokémon were mad about territory
Another heckton of Pokémon were mind controlled
