Can someone just clear something up for me -

is Captain America a bad guy? If so, is he only one in the comics but still good in the movies? I don't understand any of it.

He's both good in comics and in the films. Although currently Cap is a villain due to the Secret Empire arc in the main Marvel Comic (And over all) universe.

He's both good in comics and in the films. Although currently Cap is a villain due to the Secret Empire arc in the main Marvel Comic (And over all) universe.


I know he's originally a hero, but with this whole Hydra thing - what's up with that? Was he always a Hydra agent and a bad guy, or is he getting brainwashed? And how does that relate to the movies?

Brainwashed/Sleeper agent I believe. As of now, it doesn't connect to the movie and if it does, it won't be for a while. Just some interesting information.
