Theory/Opinion on Pokémon Mystery Dungeon's Time Gears.

So they basically act as a failsafe for when Temporal Tower falls so time can be restored. They also keep the area from being frozen in the event that the tower does fall. When you reach Treeshroud Forest, you learn that the Time Gears can't just be put back, as it would barely have an effect. But why is the land from PMD2 the only one with Time Gears? This probably means that the other continents were frozen during most of the events of Explorers.

Here's a REAL shocking question:

Did Spike Chunsoft combine all the past worlds into one for Super (and throw it a bunch of references to past characters) purely for fanservice or b/c they know Super's the last Mystery Dungeon we're ever getting and this was their swan song? Cause, it kinda feels that way...

When I was a little boy I didn't understand how numbers worked and I remember reading that the dinosaurs died 65 million years ago and then when new year came I thought the book became wrong and that it had become 66 million years ago

Don't want to post this on either the Sonic thread of the one about the news since I don't know if this is insensitive, but man today was both the best day and the worst day for AMVs. Just as people remembered such a fun weird thing from teenager years because of Infinite, we lose one of the biggest inspirations for them.

Yeah, people love to call them cringy, but it really does dawn on you as you get older that AMVs are an odd hobby, but such a good way to deal with feelings when you're young and conflicted but still want to leave a tribute to your favorite things. Best wishes to the bigger LP fans here in the forums.

Chester Bennington, lead singer of Linkin Park, committed suicide earlier today.

I'm pretty sad about this. I remember getting really pumped to "New Divide" back in 2009. (Gullible 8 year old me, thinking ROTF would be any good..) I always liked their songs, and i'm really sad to hear all this.

I know you may be referring to AMVs when saying cringy but I know how a lot of people like to give LP that label because of those first two albums and the big hits off it.

If you have the time I'd definitely recommend listening to some of their more recent works, specifically A Thousand Suns and Living Things. It shows them to be more than just edgelord music like a lot of people make them out to be, and rather an experimental group that went as far as to make electronic political rock.

One More Light, their last album, is also experimental and very different from what is expected from LP. Though it's with more of a pop-oriented sound, which led many older fans to call them sellouts. Chester really hated that sentiment. Some tracks off it also have a much colder meaning now that today's events occurred.
