My favorite joke is from Pop Rocks in which Master Eon keeps making announcements for people to stop eating certain food items from the festival. I don't know why, but that always kills me.

Pop Rocks is a close second on humor, but dunno, the amnesia plot felt underused.

Man something I don't get how some people call the show cringy. Edgy idiot teens will be teens, I know, but I sat through so much **** shows or horrible episodes you can say cringe with certainty, and SA is far from that. I can pinpoint certain things - Jet-Vac's egg farts come to mind, or the butt selfie - but there's no character who I dread the presence of or an episode you know is a skip, even The Skylands Are Falling. Actually, my problem is that some parts are way too tame where other shows took risks and did great, more than the opposite effect.

Well, maybe Space Invaders and Beard Science are sad cringe because of all the Kaos abuse being pushed aside, but in universe. They're still fun if weirdly written and rushed.

If I wanna choose a favorite comedy moment, I would say... Beard Science, when Kaos has a dinner with Golden Queen. I don't know why but that moment makes me laugh out loud, and Kaossandra's line makes it even better.

Aaand speaking about that episode, I'm there. Friggin' knew it, Eon still has his hair. It does make no sense on top of 'Kaos' life is too sad to laugh at' part. Aside from the generous serving of Hex, I really like it even less in a rewatch. You know it's coming back at the end of the episode so it all feels pointless, not to mention it doesn't work to begin with since no one ever is affected by whatever the **** happened in this episode after - GD doesn't even talk directly to Wolfgang until the final episode and it's to give orders.

E10 isn't any less rushed, but dunno, the fact the humor is guilt free makes it a bit better in my eyes. STILL don't understand why the twist did a 180 when Spyro was clearly talking about hoping Kaos would do an evil act to restore the balance.

edit: also, not sure if this amounts to anything or is a reused clip, but when the ball of evil is destroyed, it's the same voice as the entity on Kaossandra's book. Probably not going to matter, it's heavily filtered anyway and I don't think the VA is even credited, if it's not an existing one.

I am hoping that if the entity in Kaossandra's book (probs The Darkness, but who knows) is a proper character it gets a better voice. Cause that one in season 1 was, well, bad.

Oh my god I was cracking my head trying to figure out why they went for "quit playing with your junk" specifically at the start of The Skylands Are Falling.
It's almost a freeze frame, but Pop Fizz makes, uh, a specific motion when the camera quickly passes by him and goes back to Spyro. It's not obvious enough that a kid would understand, but the angle is just... Boy.

It's times like these where I love that we got an ex-Futurama writer at the head of this show

Eric confirmed release month as October again, not date for obvious reasons.
Writers confirmed aside from him are Jim Martin(Heroes writer?), J Patrick Rigney, Joanna Lewis and Kristine Songco(Dream Girls duo), Nick Confalone(later MLP and Johnny Test) and Julia Yorks(Puss in Boots Netflix show). Lotsa new people compared to Josh Haber and Eric doing most of the season, hopefully the new blood will help.

To be fair, Eric himself has worked on a few episodes of Teen Titans Go.

Fair enough. Martin also confirmed in his twitter that he wrote an episode with Glumshanks and Eruptor... Which doesn't narrow down much.

Boy I'm grasping for straws, but can't help it. Any info will help sate the thrist.

Edit: I also forgot Felicia Day is on MLP and got excited for nothing. Hopefully we'll see the actor tweets from last year soon enough!

Edit: Flashwing is voiced by Tisdale, Eric just confirmed it on twitter. Probably because she has only one line in the entire first season, but it's still fitting since she sounds close to Tara Strong.

Edit2: I just noticed in EP9 that Eon used to have brown hair and my brain cannot compute. At least this means he's always been loyal to the Obi-Wan expy motif.

We don't know how different cynder's personality is going to be on the show we just have to wait and see...I really want her to be his love interest they just look so good together

I ship SpyroXStealth Elf since Imaginators. They have a great chemistry in Imaginators and Academy, better as Spyro and Cynder in whole TLOS.

I ship Stealth Elf with Roller Brawl...I know that this is never going to happen because it's a kids show and it won't take the risk , but I think that they would be a cute couple. ( please don't hate me for my opinion )

Even with Cynder being alright, SE still had an entire season to have bonding moments, and boy did Eric use them.
