With Yoko Taro, there's not "when will things will look up for these characters?". There's "how worse things can get for these characters?" and the answer is "a lot".

It's not even like Berserk and friends where it's more the main attraction(disclaimer: haven't watched Berserk, don't plan to, I just read a summary). Someone is trying to deal with death? Let's write every next sidequest character to bring up death and the futility of life just so you can see them feel even more depressed.

Also jeez, I've put 295+ hours into the Switch... It cost me $300 so I've almost put an hour per dollar that the console itself cost and I never played another console this much so soon. I guess it was worth it to me.

I haven't even put that many hours into overwatch
