I found a cat - help?

So I was walking around my neighborhood and I found this cat that looked very agitated but also wounded. We don't have stray cats in our area so I figured he was a runaway. I've taken him back to my house and put a leash on him until I can figure out what to do, but I think going door to door down my street with him or printing out some found cat signs would be a good idea. Here's a picture of him hanging out in my living room:

UPDATE: My cat and this one DO NOT like each other. They are growling and spitting at one another so I think it's best I get this cat home as soon as possible.

This is a very cute but risky cat breed to have. They make kitty teefies look like a fun time.

If serious, get this guy home or to a shelter if you don't plan on keeping.

playing with the joke. All the time on reddit people go with the 'I found this cat' pictures to say it's a very firm cat(dog), very risky cat(skunk) etc etc

I mean an upset skunk is probably worse than having a kitten bite you, even if both situations are nasty.

The reason your cat and that cat don't get along is because that isn't a cat, it's a dog. All dogs are natural predators of cats.

Update: New cat is doing okay. Nicknamed him Charlie. Tensions between he and my cat has died down a bit. Just fed Charlies a bean and cheese burrito and he went freakin' nuts. Should find owner soon though.

It's not. Siamese have dark markings on a light body.

It's probably American Shorthair or something like that.

I have to admit I'm a bit scared of his tail. It could just be his natural markings, but it looks like he might have a scaly skin disease. Maybe you should take him to a vet first.

So just came back from the vet and apparently he's not a cat at all? The vet said he's an "opusso" or something like that but what does she know? Gonna do some rounds around my neighborhood to see if anyone owns him.

She's a vet, do isn't she supposed to know? Maybe check other vets to have multiple opinions.

Vets don't know anything, all they're trained to do is force specific medicines down different animals' throats. Real hacks, vets are.

UPDATE: So nobody in town owns Charlie, and, like the vet, say he isn't a cat. I've thought it over and I've decided that I'm just gonna adopt him. Gonna get him vaccinated tomorrow.
