I gotta say, Sony's E3 press conference was really grim and gritty. Like, it's jarring that Microsoft had more whimsical stuff at their presser (Super Lucky Tale's, Terry Crews in Crackdown 3, Cuphead...).

I really liked what was shown of SpiderMan. Looks like a pretty nice game I'd be willing to check out if I had a PS4.

Mostly a disappointing showing this year outside of Nintendo. Sony in particular I thought would do better. Spider-Man looks nice but at the same time it hampers my expectations since it looks more like Amazing Spider-Man 1 rather than Spider-Man 2 on GC.

Nintendo has sold me on a Switch. Though I can't help but feel like I'd regret the decision a few years from now when there's no third party support.

Metroid, not-Stars, Odyssey bringing in that character of all things and with the possession gimmick, wow. Not enough to make E3 better overall, but worth it.

On Nintendo tree house live they just announced and are showing gameplay for a new metroid game for the 3ds

They just confirmed that GameFreak is working on a main series game for the Switch and will probably be released in over a year.
