I don't see how saying a character that he played will live on in our memories is a jokey thing to say. Think you need to chill there. I am sure Windumup knows Adam's other roles and just said "Catman was my favorite" and said it. Don't see how it was offensive.

I just thought Windumup made a ****ty little joke trying to be funny on an actual serious matter.

But it's a show on Nickelodeon, no Cartoon Network.

A lot of Adam West's best stuff were his appearances in "****ty cartoons", usually parodies or homages to his role as Batman. I loved how chill he was about being so strongly associated with one specific role. Most actors hate being typecast like that but he just embraced it full on.

Alright gonna beat a dead horse, but I feel like I need to say this since my phone won't let me log in to do so last night.

1. Fairly Oddparents was on Nickelodeon not Cartoon Network.

2. Irrelevant to the whole Adam West subject. I think you need to legit calm down. Without Cartoon Network or at least it's executives, you'd probably won't have Rick and Morty on Adult Swim. Which is pretty much on the Cartoon Network station (but at night). So I don't entirely see why you're cursing at a cartoon station.

3. Perhaps before you pounce on a person for thinking they made a "joke" perhaps you should look up the actor's roles? So maybe you won't get as mad next time or at least understand what they meant.

Personally I think Adam West would want us to laugh. Like yeah death is serious and all, but a lot of people would like to see others happy. With most actors they want to see people be happy and continue moving up in life, granted they're not around to continue to make people happy, but the characters they played are. Actors know they're gonna live on with their characters they have played, along with your memories. They just want you to remember the good times. We're gonna miss Adam, but he's definitely gonna live on in our memories of when he brought joy to the world. RIP Adam West, we will not forget the joy you brought us.

You know, I totally agree with that last paragraph, I just didn't understand that "Catman" is a role Adam West had on a cartoon, but I just thought that's Windumup tried to make a little joke, trying to think he's funny, but didn't realise he was making a reference to a role Adam West had.

um guys adamn west hasnt voiced catman since season six (which was a while ago) and jeff bennett voices him now, so can the character really be considered dead??? idk.

Well the newer Fairy Odd Parents suck, I mean seriously the show started to die the moment they introduced Poof. The magic dog Sparky wasn't needed, and that new girl he is sharing his fairies with or whatever is especially not needed.
