Just a simple topic seeing as the game releases this week. Who's gonna be picking this bad boy up? I'll be out tomorrow night getting my copy at GameStop at the early launch!

Tried out the demo and watched some gameplay and thought it looked kinda boring honestly so I'll be giving it a pass.

I'm getting it tomorrow. I've been waiting 10 years for this! My faith in it never shattered even as the world believed it to be cancelled. Do I expect it to set the world on fire? No but I don't want to suffer XIII's fate. Never again.

Plus I wanna see more of Ardyn Izunia, Iris Amicitia and Gentiana.

As usual, waiting for someone to start and LP of it : P no friends IRL with PS4s, and I'm pretty sure it's notorious on the internet how expensive the console is in Brazil.

I haven't seen an official topic about this, so I'm just going to bump this.

I recently got the game from Ganestop on sale, and I heard there were movies and extra stuff I need to see to get the whole story.. what is that all about?

Also, I'm a little confused on the combat and could use some pointers regarding it ^.^

Before actually.

Brotherhood is backstories, so definately first; Kingslaive happens sometime after the start of the game(there's a cutscene added in an update that more or less goes "hey this is where the movie happens"), so obviously watch after your first 2 hours or before. I've heard both that they're passable or that they're necessary, I think the latter because the game almost uses too much show don't tell and you don't really have time to digest most of the events and characterization.
