Found it at a Best Buy and gave it a spin. Controls exactly like you'd expect an updated Crash game to play. Still think the graphics could've been better but it's the real deal and I'm a lot more excited to get it when it releases.

Can someone explain me this GIF I've never played Crash 2.

On two of the levels, Bee Having and Diggin' It, Crash can dig underground in specific areas of the level to escape those bees. It doesn't protect you from Nitros or the other enemies in the level, though, but Crash can stick his arm out from the ground to spin away other enemies.

I thought Crash can only dig in Mind over Mutant. Nice

Oh lordy... it's alright. But, either I need to get my eyes checked, or the way Crash is draw, it looks like his irises and pupils are different sizes. And it's quite jarring. O.o

Honestly, let me just remind you this is the series where the main has a giant head with no neck and the villain has a giant head shaped like an ice cream cone.

Yeah, what Sess said. They honestly could've changed the cover a tiny bit so that Coco's face doesn't look smashed in or something.

All this is giving me hope. I know I'll be fine with the N. Sane Trilogy as it is but I do hope the general consensus will see it as a great compilation because Crash Bandicoot should be more than just nostalgia. There's a reason everyone remembers Crash and Spyro but not games like Battle Arena Toshinden.

I guess not, even if booth of those run the engine. People just don't release games for those anymore.

OHMYGAAAAAAAAAAAAWD! That Warped stuff though. The arranged music. The level aesthetics. So boootiful. And they got the Death Tornado Spin and Fruit Bazooka working like the good ol' days! <3

Xbox One, and possibly Switch and PC. We aren't going to get it for obsolete consoles. If that was the case, we would've gotten a PS3 version alongside the PS4 one.

Ah well. Maybe I'll eventually get a PS4.

It's not confirmed. Just a possibility. GameStop had a list of PS4 games, and Crash was classified as a One-Year Exclusive.

This is a third party title but hey! The PS1 Crash games are classic for a reason and I want these games to be enjoyed by everyone and if it works well on Switch, I'll play that version too. Ditto Spyro.

Now just give me a reboot of Twinsanity and my life will be complete

May I ask why so many people online is asking for a CTR HD remake?
I never tried the PS1 version, even though I played a smartphone porting a couple years ago and... I found it to be ok, I guess?

Also watched some videos: not bad at all, but definitely nothing special to justify such a high request.
It's personally not a remake I would be excited about, but maybe you could help me see what I'm not seeing.
Definitely agree on Twinsanity being a much more interesting choice, complete with all the previously cut content.
