You guys may not have one, but maybe some of you have experiences that you find spooky. I have two below:

I was 14, and I was walking down a forest trail near my house with my dad (we love hiking and all that). It was a long trail with lots of twists and turns. We were just reaching the end - the final hill, which was always brutal to walk up. My dad and I were talking like normal, about things like work and school as always. When we reached the top of the hill, and that's when we heard footsteps behind us. We turned, to see an old man walking behind us. He look very put-together (if that's the right term). He had a polo shirt, a cap, some shorts and some very clean sneakers - all white. He was very thin, and had a curly mustache. He laughed and said something along the lines of "I was hoping to catch up to you so I could give you a quarter to carry me up." My dad and I slowed down and we chuckled quietly, and my dad and the guy began to talk about running areas nearby. My dad brought up a certain hill a few miles down the road, and then the guy chuckled and said something really weird - "If you see someone running up that hill, you might as well talk a gun and shoot them." My dad and I looked at each like "What the heck did he just say?" My dad started to wrap up the conversation, saying goodbyes as we had reached the top of the hill. My dad and I walked one way, the old guy walked the other. My dad and I looked at each other, and, even though we said nothing, we both looked at each other with "That was weird" looks. Then my dad turns around, and puts his hand on my shoulder, stopping me. I turn around to see what he was looking at, and I saw nothing but the open road behind us. Then my dad asked something like, "Where'd he go?" I looked around, and I saw that I could not see the guy. There was only straight road in front of us. There was no way the guy could have just turned a corner without going into the trees. We stopped and looked at one another in confusion, and then headed home, talking about what had just happened the whole way until we were at the front door of our home. No other member of our family believes what we saw. I still remember it to this day, and so does my dad. And after walking that exact trail many more times, we haven't seen that man again.

Another time, when I was 5 or 6 years old, my kindergarten class was only on a half day schedule, so I got out at about 12 o'clock PM. Most of this story is an account from my mother, by the way, as I only faintly remember it. So my mom took me to a park near our house, and we were just walking around, being silly as usual as I was very young. Then I remember seeing a man in all black, standing on the path. I remember my mom being frightened, and myself becoming nervous because it was scary to see my own mother frightened. I remember my mom and I getting in the car and driving away, and me asking what had happened but my mom kind of avoiding answering. I didn't really think about it until I was older, and now it kind of spooks me.

Maybe I'm just paranoid, but these are my two experiences. Share yours below.

One time I was being a real grouch on the day before Christmas and then ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future came to teach me the real meaning of Christmas.

Yeah I don't believe in ghosts one bit.

i don't believe in ghosts but i had a weird experience once
when i was in 5th grade my class took a trip to philadelphia. we were sitting in congress hall listening to a tour guide lecture. i was zoning out and staring over to the left corner of the room. all of a sudden, a man popped out from under the row of desks in that corner. he looked exactly like benjamin franklin. he stared back at me for a couple of seconds, and then disappeared back under the desks. nobody i asked about it saw him.
was i hallucinating? was it a historical reenactor lazing about?? was benjamin franklin himself coming back from the dead to troll me??? i will never know.

There was an abandoned poorhouse on the outskirts of my hometown. It was known to be one of the most haunted places in the area and lots of local residents seemed to go there and have their own spooky experiences. Me, Rendar, and a friend went out there one time. The building is falling apart and there's lots of graffiti everywhere. We went up to the top floor of the house, and I felt kind of nervous. Not because of ghosts or anything, but because it seemed really unstable. That all changed shortly when our friend spoke out asking spirits to show themselves, and...

JK nothing changed, nothing happened and it was dumb

Yeah and one other time I went out there with like 4 other people and they all convinced themselves that there were dark spirits trying to kill them in the house and one disclosed that they believed they had a demon named Vincent that was protecting them from evil spirits. Then the group said, "We have to get out of here NOW!" and everyone ran screaming from the house except me. I stood there... Waiting in the dark, alone. When suddenly,
I got bored and slowly walked out of the house, as nothing at all happened.

As a young'un, a bolt of lightning struck a tree in my backyard and burned it down. It was such a blinding flash... I've been terrified of storms ever since. ;~;
