What's your knowledge of Trump before 2015?

I'll try to be as uncontroversial as I can but I'm very curious to know everyones' knowledge of Donald Trump prior to his campaign for presidency. Have you heard his name casually mentioned or maybe you saw his name brand around Manhattan. Are you an avid watcher of The Apprentice or has his existence completely flew over your head?

I knew who he was long beforehand, even before The Apprentice. However, I didn't pay much attention to his existence other than hearing about him in the media from time to time.

I knew he was a very wealthy man, everyone kind of idolized him in the 80s, and he had a multitude of divorces. He was already a meme and a controversial figure before 2015.

I knew that he was some sort of billionaire and comedy subject for talk show comedians. But since his fortune hasn’t made any sort of important economic news outside of U.S. he has always been until now, very irrelevant dude in the eyes of world.

I know, she was very bad indeed... but instead of being actual hall of fame of professional wrestling, it is their own marketing tool for whatever reason they come up with. And don't get me started on Warrior Award which has been just the most pretentious emotion-based zero-meaning to the art of wrestling itself since the first time it was given.

But why get so emotional about half-naked oiled, poorly acting, sweaty men pretending to fight one another, right?

Hall of Fame is pretty much just a list of who Vince likes and feels like putting in there at any given moment. On one hand you aren't gonna get in unless you were actually good but at the same time there's a lot of questionable choices and a lot of looking the other way. If WWE is going to take a moral high ground and never induct Benoit, they also have an obligation to admit inducing Moolah to be a mistake and revoke the honor. Neither of them deserve it.

What sucks is that Warrior asked for such an award to honor the backstage guys who've put their heart and soul into the product for decades with little recognition, and WWE instead uses it as a PR platform. Feels even more gross when Steph so much as said PR is the best kind of marketing, making it all the obvious why they bother with this.

That is true. But honouring long-term workers does not sell sympathy dollars more than honouring charity cases.

Moolah was a cancer to women's wrestling. Benoit will forever be remembered for his murders but there is no denying that he is the most intense and techincally second best gifted pro wrestler to ever wrestle. But Moolah did not do anything for women's wrestling. WWE wants us to think that Moolah is the one who made women's wrestling prominent but eventually everybody knows that it was and still is Manami Toyota who really set the standard.
