the 2DS was aimed at those who are younger than seven(which is the minimum recommended age for the 3D effect.

i seriously thought this was fake when i saw it in my yt subscriptions

but hey, 150 ain't that bad. looks pretty slick too. i'll get one.

Also some people forget that this is also aimed at people who don't want the 3D option, the New 3DS XL is $199.99, while this is $149.99. In other words you pay $50 more for 3D.

For some reason, I had the feeling this would be coming. The design looks really appealing to me. I love the blue and black together. Also

As stated here, it can be a cheaper option for those who really doesn't need or want the 3d effects at all. It is also an upgrade for the 2ds pretty much like the 3ds and new 3ds, it seems.

I really don't like the design. It looks like a smartphone bolted onto the bottom part of a 3DS
