What to say? Crash and Spyro are pretty alive now

Not sure if a good thing because we're finally hearing from main series Spyro, or bad because this isn't a Skylanders Guest Star figure and it could mean they're throwing the franchise away before the final packs are even out.

GUYS! This is literally the first time we're officially getting anything classic continuity Spyro related in 12 years! Seriously, it's been that long... Wow.

I see the beginning of some sort of revival...

Well, at least this probably means the remasters are coming.

I also really like that it's really really old style Spyro rather than AHT. Sure no one cared about the design changes then, but I never liked the face.

I joined in to give it a like of course, and am unbelievably hyped. SPYRO IS BACK, BABY

I don´t like the first game it, mostly the controls.

I think there is a lot of likelihood that Classic Spyro may appear first in Skylanders 7 and then with one's own game.
As it was done with Crash, in short.

Jeez! A Spyro figure would be awesome but a bit too expensive for me. I bloody love Spyro but I have think about how I spend my money. This makes me think Spyro will have a future because I want future Spyro games to go beyond our nostalgia and to become timeless classics.

Daaaaaaaamn, First 4 Figures does some really great stuff. Definitely excited for this.

What if the original trilogy gets remastered and is called Spyro the Dragon : Blazing Hot Trilogy ? Or Spyro: Hot Fire Trilogy

If we do the same naming theme as Crash, it'd be probably the Dragon Realms Trilogy or something.

As a collector of Spyro merchandise, I would love to get the Spyro figure when it comes out. Although, I'm worried that I won't be able to afford it when it comes out and that it will sell out by the time I do have enough money.

Wasn't expecting them to also make a figure inspired by the early box art, but it's a nice idea.

The actual Crash and Spyro figures will most likely look 100 times better, though.

Wow, this is amazing! I can't believe it but its very possible that we could get a Spyro remaster just like Crash is getting. I honestly never thought this day would come but this video seals the deal for me. I swear, if I hear anything at all about Spyro during E3, I'm gonna flip! Crash is back, now original Spyro is back. I never thought I'd live to see the day. I suppose even if nothing comes from this its still exciting that this could even be a possibility in 2017, over 20 years after the game first released

I appreciate him and what he does a lot, but it seemed that his opinion on this site wasn't that positive, probably because of the many Skylanders fans; happy to be mistaken, though!

Seems like the figure is coming together quite nicely, even if I think the crest and maybe also horns should should need some tweaking.
But I understand it's probably still in an early phase.

Come on, reveal the entire figure at E3, I will Pre Order so fast.

Aura reported that some people are trying to petition them to make a Cynder figure; though I don't believe they'd do it, especially because of the Classic design, it's cool discussion.

I'd rather her Krome or Skylanders design tho. Anything but that anatomy nightmare from DOTD, plus TEN Cynder is adorbs.

dark cynder from new beginning or little cynder from eternal night would be cool. unlikely but cool. agree with bifrost about dawn cynder. dawn cynder had nice concept art and horrible game model. not figure worthy.

Well, anatomy wise ANB Cynder is no better now that I think about it, but the whole game had that style of impossible thin parts and spirals - and tons of figures out there at least can make do with a strange style. She's stick limbs and torso all the way, unlike DOTD who can't make up its mind about "realism" or "literally no space for a stomach".

forget not her broken back legs and knees on the ground when standing. new beginning was a cartoon style with cartoon proportions so they worked well enough. dawn was just bad.
