I'm more surprised he cared this long, usually the admins either give control to someone else and abandon ship, or get a team of global mods and start slowing down on messin with the site themselves. We don't give enough credit over how much he puts up with us : P


How do you know it's the same person, though? For all you know, the "dark" of the late 2000's gave the account to an IRL friend/family member or something and we've (not actually b/c they never post) dealt with them since then.

Also holy crap I just realized this site's now existed longer in the 2010's than it did in the 2000's. Oy. <.<;

You could make a thread taking bets on which villain will end up out-evilling the others. My bookie has it at 7-1 odds that The Darkness blows everyone out of the water and 13-1 that Kaos ends up beating the Doom Raiders and The Darkness at their own game by sheer dumb luck. <.<

Anyway, today marked my first real time playing through Kingdom Hearts, and I got my ass kicked a lot. I don't know if it's really supposed to be hard, or if I'm just really bad, but Riku gave me a lot of trouble on Destiny Islands. Eh...

And this is on the normal difficulty at the beginning of the game... I dunno.

EDIT: How exactly do you parry attacks? I tried looking in the manual, but I didn't really find anything. Probably because I didn't look enough smilie

Also, I'm beginning to dislike the Cloudy Domain in A Hero's Tail

The fights on Destiny Island can prove tricky for beginners, Riku especially. As for parrying attacks, there's two ways. One, to use the Guard ability, you will not have access to as it you need to reach a certain level to unlock. The other way is to attack at the exact same time the enemy attacks so that your attacks collide and cancel out. As long as you're facing your opponent, the only trick is getting the timing. It actually sounds harder than it is really.

I'm sad that I saw a place with Skylanders: Battlegrounds Starter Packs, and they had Red Camo, but I couldn't buy it because it's a promotional item given when you buy something else.

I wanted to sell that Camo for hundreds of bucks...

Well, at least now I know my TV runs Battlegrounds. Nice.

Expecting the Uruk-hai to be organized is like peeing in a toilet and looking for a reason to avoid flushing. Like when your life is going down the drain, or losing all of your progress in a game, or can't get through a really hard part of a project.

Maybe just that time in your life where you think this.

You don't **** with plot armor, especially when combined with anime physics. I lost count of how many times the cast of P5 gets injuries outside of dungeons that would put them at the hospital but they're fine as soon as the camera cuts away. Pretty sure IRL you'd crack yor skull by tripping and hitting your head on a treadmill, but not here.

Oh yeah and any game where just eating a nice wall chicken suddenly restores grave wounds and burns.
