I'm still gonna bet she'll be voicing Chill. I have no proof of that, but I wouldn't be surprised. I mean, there's already a lot of characters on the show with personalities different from the games (Eon, Hex, and Broccoli Guy probably being the best examples), so I don't think it'd be out of the question.

We are parts of the same fandom,not separate franchise and I would...far prefer an unified fandom,you are the newcomers to us,I would like to know your ideas,your good writers,artists not being hated without even trying to know us.Darkspyro is supposed to be a place for fans with a common interest to join eachother,a place to get news,meet other fans,talk about games and get help when you have problems in one of the game.It's a community that should not be divided into three parts,each at each other throats.Also next year is Spyro 20th anniversary and guess what Skylanders would have never existed without it,so you should respect the origins and the purple dragon who start it all.Yes I would not be surprised if after this I get banned,talking sense into you but atleast I will have try to stop this dumb flame war

No one gives a crap about the "War On Spyro" and if anything, our side of the fandom is the most mature about the "opposing fandom". Like... to be perfectly honest, it's just a stupid tweet. A stupid, cringeworthy tweet. I don't have to respect Spyro at all. I don't care. It's a video game

I knew the purpose of the tweet but at least the guy responded to Eric nicely. We know the other ones that acted way worse.

I wouldn't mind Spyro skateboarding as a nod but the Academy really isn't designed for that kind of animation. They'd have to make an entirely new place or add tons of assets to the Skylander Games for this one joke, and that isn't really viable.

I actully think that skylands is more of a hoverboard area.

I'm mainly just saying that because episodes mocking the fanbase don't tend to go over too well. Just look at Rocknaldo, a lot of people, even Steven Universe fans, didn't really like that episode.

Granted I'm open to the idea so long as they do more than just mock the fanbase like TTG does... Like Sonic Boom was mocking fans, but it did so by doing a parody of Misery.

Eric confirmed that Cynder's personality was changed. Anything that's not on DOTD levels is fine by me. The previous statement also implies they won't be in a romantic relationship which is even better.

I don't even think Cynder had a personality on the Skylanders games. She always felt like a typical sassy/wicked girl, which we already have dozens on the same franchise.

She does in the books, the comic gave her far from enough lines. She's the sassy girl, not much on wicked - she also taunts everyone in sight since Hex is too stern and Zook was out of his element, literally. Howewer, it was still her thing, if you get what I mean - DOTD it was always a line about berating someone else, and we never really learned anything about her other than "oh nooo I resent being evil while brainwashed". Skynder does it more out of being cocky and confident, which feels more real.

Just warning you guys that a major writers' strike might happen soon, and this might or might not affect Skylanders Academy. Judging by the past strike, which happened in 2007, here are the possible effects:

If Season 2's script and screenplay are already complete (which is the case, I think), this season will not be affected at all.

Since Season 3 is still in its early production stages, this strike might affect the Season. The effects may vary. It has a chance of not affecting it at all, a chance of simple delays, or, in worst case scenario, episodes being cut or even full-on cancellation of the Season.

Again, these are just possibilities, so don't worry for now.

Eric said he's not supporting it. The union actually turned Skylanders Academy's pitch down for some bull**** reason(something about the method he used? I can't actually scroll down that far without Firefox going mad) and he apparently resents the last time it happened; he said that about a month ago on twitter.

Whats the Union? Writer's Union?

I tried scrolling all the way back into April, no dice. I think he deleted them but it was related to an incoming writers' strike.
