With the announcement of the NX tomorrow, was there ever a confirmation of Splatoon NOT being ported to the NX? Or even better, confirmation that there's no plan for a sequel?

Yeah, the internet connectivity is free until fall. So it seems like it will be free for a while after Splatoon 2 comes out too. Unless "Summer" means August to Nintendo...

I know that they said the price in Japan, but did they ever officially announce the price for the rest of the world? I think it was some 20 odd dollars

it's okay splatoon is kinda hard to aim for me too since it's so fast paced and a TPS.

Yeah, one of the things I like the least in the game is the control scheme. I don't like how its only partially motion controls, but if you want the camera to turn left or right you use the right stick, and if you use non motion controls you stand almost no chance because you can't aim precisely.

I did a lot better in some other matches (read: 7 kills 1 death) but i suck sometimes

I think the best I got in the Testfire overall was one match with the Dualies where I got around 1000 ink points (+the 1000 you get from winning) and a 9 kill streak with zero deaths. Man do I love the Dualies...

Is it me, or was there a second Testfire before the first Splatoon came out? I know there was one after for those still undecided, but I cant help but feel like there was another one (I think it was just a day or two) before the game officially came out. Would anyone be opposed to having a second Testfire come May or something when we're a little closer to release?

I WANTED A SURVIVAL MODE SO BADLY FOR SPLATOON MY DREAMS HAVE COME TRUEEEEE *insert external screaming here*

I have a whole bunch of questions that I would love answered in a completely Splatoon 2 focused Direct in late May early June.
1. Is it locked to 4 different weapons?
2. Does that locking affect the subcategories of weapons? (i.e. Blasters are kind of their own type, but they're still shooters)
3. Is it endless or just until a certain number of Steelheads are defeated?
4. PLEASE LET IT BE ENDLESS AND YOU CAN JUST LEAVE WHEN EVERYONE AGREES TO
5. Is it locked to 3 separate difficulties or does it increment as it goes on?
6. Going off number 5, why not have both of those? Then the end of 'hard' is actually nightmare mode [/wrong series]
7. What is that inside a Golden Egg? An Inkling embryo? Some sort of fossil? It's moving...
8. Can only one Inkling carry one Golden Egg at a time? It looks like they fit perfectly into the lifesavers on their backs
9. What's with the REALLY COOL fog?

3. itll likely be until a certain numer of steelheads (or maybe other enemies?) are defeated. most horde modes run this way, even the longest ones, ive never heard of an actual endless horde mode.

5. these things are largely set to a certain number of difficulties (both TF2's mann vs machine and overwatch's uprising is 5 difficulty levels, gears of war 4's horde 3.0 is 4), but once you're deeper into waves it gets a lot harder to survive
7. its a little fish skeleton so im assuming theyre the salmonid's(sp?) eggs
8. most likely, that way if a harder enemy drops more, theyll have to hold the horde back for another run, i dont see why theyd hold more than one

I can't wait for the weapons either! I'm also low key hoping theres one more weapon type announced, but the Dualies are really nice. It's nice to see that the Octolings have adopted other weapon types as well. That could be really cool and tied to the story since their leader (I guess) might know where to get them new weapons

Not yet, they said they would closer to the launch of the premium service.

So I was playing Ranked mode today, just got to B rank. My first Match as a B rank was a Tower Control in the mall level. It took a long time, but my team managed to win and get a Knockout. Before I can do anything, my dog runs into the room, jumps on a nearby chair, and sits on top of a Wii Remote. ON THE POWER BUTTON. So instead of being at like 40 points or something for winning, I'm at 20 points for quitting before getting my points.
