I mean are u ****ing retarded? Look at the goddamn floor and u can see that the floor is flat. If the earth was rounded like a ball then ur floor wouldn't be flat wouldn't it? Exactly retard let's just say that u fell off a tree. If the world was rounded then u would fly across the world because of a thing called gravity. But u don't u fall to the ****ing floor. God people are so retarded sometimes.

A lot of people talk about how anti-vax is one of the most stupid things they've ever heard, but at the same time I at least get the idea of being paranoid with that.
I do not see in any way how a handful of people, let alone this many celebrities, believe the Earth is flat. The fact this is seemingly a growing movement is mystifying. |

I don't have time to watch the video now, but I'm fairly sure it's about Shaq believing that the Earth is flat. I saw something along those lines elsewhere.
In a way I can see why someone uneducated would think that. It's not really intuitive as you can't see the curvature of the land that you're walking on, or see the planet spinning with your own eyes while you're standing on it. That being said, Shaq is not uneducated. Shaq has an Ed.D. Shaq has no excuse. |

The boggling part is that it shouldn't take a college degree to know this. This is something that is established around 1st grade (or whatever schooling equivalent for six year olds at your country of residence, dear reader). Photos, physics, and goddamn common sense in the general psyche instill the belief at an early age that the Earth is round, in the same way that the universe also both figuratively and literally does not revolve around us.
Am I crazy? Is the only reason I learned at a very early age the Earth wasn't flat because I wanted to be an astronomer as a child? B.o.B. dropped out of high school in freshman year but you're already learning in freshman year of elementary that the Earth isn't flat. What the hell am I missing? |

solution is simple
send them to the international space station for a week and have them stare at the earth the entire time. |

For the ones who pay attention on that sorta stuff from a young age it is very much a natural conclusion. But there are many people (adults) that can't even name the planets of our solar system, much less their order or their relative size compared to one another, or even the simple fact that our sun is a star. It's just never been in their mindset. I also think that many people choose to believe in these sort of conspiracy theories simply because it feeds their ego to think that they know better than others. In a way it's very liberating to be a "radical" and separate yourself from the mainstream by putting faith in something that not a lot of people believe, and once that happens these people start to rationalize it to themselves. Sooner or later they're in a bubble and can't see things any other way. Quote: Crystal Dragon
Do you know how much it would cost to send 147 kilograms of Shaquille O´Neal into space? |

Y'know, because clearly all those pictures from NASA and Hubble of our round, spherical planet are Photoshopped... just like the moon landing. <.<

The moon landing wasn't photoshopped! They hired Kubrick to direct it on a set, but due to his incessant perfectionism, he forced NASA to film on location.

Quick research on how much a tourist trip to the ISS would cost says it's roughly $50 million for any one person to go. Shaquille O'Neal has a net worth of approx. $350 million USD. It's feasible. |

I have noticed several debates on this particular subject here. To all you godless atheists out there, let's settle this once and for all...
In the modern world it has become a widely spread lie that the earth is round. Of course, this is impossible. If the earth is round, then why don't people just fall off at the bottom? The answer is simple: The Earth is not round! Now, if we take a look at some scripture, it clearly tells us the earth is not round but flat: Jeremiah 16:19: O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit. According to Jeremiah 16:19, the earth has ends. There is no way a spherical earth could have ends, and therefore the earth must be flat. The Book of Revelation tells a similar story: Revelation 7:1: And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. A spherical earth cannot have corners, it is scientifically impossible. The only logical explanation is that the earth is flat. Checkmate atheists! Isaiah 40:22: It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in: What Isaiah actually describes here is as follows (note: this is a link to a video where a True Christian Scientist™ debunks a false Christian interpretation of this passage): Now, if you still don't believe these scientific facts, here are some real photographs taken at the ends of the earth: ![]() ![]() As you can see, this is a solid proof the Earth is flat. Why else would it have edges like these? ...because the earth is flat! That's why. YIC, Big Green |

Bull! The feds never would have had the budget to nail a guy like Kubrick. They'd have had to settle for Ed Wood, and we all know how that would turn out. <.>

and since it says corners, we can also deduce the earth is a flat square, because a circle has no corners
