My gamestop and amazon order has shipped so I have the basic switch,mario carrying case,bomberman and botw and a few other things trying to get some amiibo and two pro controller tonight

I'm just hoping I can get to Best Buy early enough tomorrow to snag a Switch. I'm waiting on my download code from Amazon later tonight and I'm not the only one saying this, but oh my god these are going to be the longest 12 hours of my life.

Breath of the Wild on Switch got a day one update that apparently cleans up a lot of the frame drops the game had.

So that concern is gone.

okay so long story short i went to the launch with my gf and we got the last spare one at our gamestop that had four in stock

im definitely not getting one until may, but im really glad i could help make her this happy!!
also the joycons feel surprisingly good in your hands without the actual switch or the controller thing

EDIT: oh yeah the cartridge tastes terrible but u gotta try it omg

My thoughts-

BOTW is STUNNING. Seriously. The graphics are... quite amazing.
System has good battery life.
Joy-Cons are fun to mess around with.
Putting the joy-cons on the system makes it WIDE.

I can't stop seeing a derpy dog in the Switch controller. This could be a problem if I buy one cause I'll look at it in the middle of gameplay and spontaneously giggle. As if I needed another reason for people to call me crazy. <.<

I mean the next restock is probably when stores will start getting more systems to have on hand and will probably have restocks frequently since it gives them time to produce more systems. I'd be dumbfounded if they don't have any systems out by end of April/May in time for Mario Kart.

So... No one else gonna bring up how the Switch had a record-breaking launch?

I mean, still too early to tell if it's a success since they could just mean compared to the Wii U, but I think if they can keep this up throughout the year it'll look good for the Switch.
