I really don't see how it's unnecessary? It already makes sense, so it'd be more unnecessary to remove it for no reason.

I dunno, it's a dumb thing that annoys me the tiniest bit. It won't affect my enjoyment of the remasters at all, but it's just stupid that the game has a plot that actively tells you that you shouldn't play the game to defeat the main villain

I can kind of understand it.

The game's story is that Cortex is tricking Crash, which works from Crash's perspective, but not the player's, because they saw the opening where he's plotting and thereby know he's up to no good.

Though the title "Cortex Strikes Back" doesn't really help in that regard either.

I dunno, I just think it would be better if the player didn't initially know and they were guessing up til the end whether or not they could actually trust him, or something like that.

Some people have been saying this game might not be a PS4 exclusive. It doesn't have the "Only on" signal on the boxart and it didn't appeared on the PlayStation 4 exclusive games for 2017 video.

Considering how Acti is always aiming for that multiplatform with their games, I would not be surprised if Xbox and Switch get it.

On one hand, I think it makes sense for it to be PlayStation exclusive since it's a remake of a PlayStation exclusive game.

On the other hand, if it isn't exclusive, that could potentially mean I can play it.

Well, either way, I just got a PS4 for Christmas just in case. But if it is on Wii U or something... oh boy.

Yeah, to the above four posters, you DO know that Sony, not Activision, owns the publishing rights to Crash 1-3 (and Spyro 1-3), right? SCE America published those games, and Universal (the original IP owner before Activision) only distributed the games in North America. I don't know how many times that's been said on this site.

I'd give up your multiplatform hopes right now, because if ActiBlizz could do multiplatform, the original Crash and Spyro games would have shown up on Steam/XBLA/Wii U eShop ages ago. <.<

Just like how they think they should release the Crash remakes only on PS4, same for potential Spyro remakes, Only on PS4 because it'll make them good. They should also get Naughty Dog to make Crashy games again, despite having a almost an entirely different team.

Woah, everything is looking a lot better in those bigger photos. I really like how the lighting looks and the detail is just glorious. And God, I can't get enough of the backgrounds.

I am not sure if Sunset Vista looks more or less sunset-y than the original. <.<;

I think some of those screenshot look a little rough, but it's looking good overall.

A few news that we got over the time:

• The characters will have lots of new animations.
  
• Coco's voice actor from Titans/Mind Over Mutant returns. N. Gin's most recent voice actor might be coming back too.
  
• Each game's controls will be exactly like before, so don't expect stuff like sliding on Crash 1.

Honestly, Drawdler, I also like Crash's Skylanders model better; it seems to stay a bit truer to his old one. It's like the current one looks too... zany, or something. I can't really put a finger on why -- it's not his fur or his eyes or anything. Maybe because his pants look more like sweatpants than jeans.

I prefer Skylanders Crash because he seems more expressive, and I like his fur color palette more. I still enjoy this game's visuals except for Crash, but I feel it's a lower budget project, that's why it doesn't look perfect, and some things may look strange.

It's interesting to see the Crash Bandicoot 1 bosses on there. Like, I know a couple of them spoke maybe 1 line... but maybe we're going to see some expanded dialogue for the N. Sane Trilogy?

I think pretty much all of them got stock grunt/laugh effects originally (same with the non-human bosses in Crash 2, although Tiny got a voice in Crash 3), so the jury's still out on that one.

Remember there's new animations, so those can come with new dialogue, I guess.

They also give Tawnasomething like a personality. I think they have now more dialogue (and maybe cutscenes)
