I had a fantail that lived eight years. I also had a goldfish pond. I have a tip, trap and eat local raccoons before they eat your friends. (Still want to get revenge on those beasts)

fantails are my fav type of goldfish because they're the least modified of the fancy varieties. common goldfish live around 20 or more years. fantails are cut around half that, but not too bad, around 10-15 years or so. so your fantail probably had a good life. really really modified goldfish like butterflies, telescopes, ryukins and all that jazz sometimes struggle to make it to 10 years and it's really sad. i want my babies to live as long as possible and when i get me my goldfish pond IM GONNA HIRE GUARDS TO GUARD MY BABIES AGAINST RACCOONS AND BIRDS AND EVIL PEOPLE. they will live FOREVER.

Couldn't agree more! Fish are way cooler pets than most people give them credit for. I had about 10 freshwater eels of all different species. The largest was a fire eel named Phoenix, and he was over a foot long. Goldfish are really awesome fish indeed! There are so many different kinds, and most are so friendly ahhh. Also, my local fish store had an adult arowana that they kept for display and he was a HUUGE bamf! Holy ****. I hope you are able to get all of your dream fish. ALL THE FISHES. <3

40 gallon tanks are the perfect size for two or three of them at adult sized. people will say 10 gallon minimum per axolotl but they can get like 8-12 inches long so it's best u just give them the space they'll need right off the bat. they're best kept with other axolotls of the same size. they'll bully axolotls that are smaller than them. if they're kept with fish, the fish will try and eat their gills and stuff. juvenile axolotls also tend to bite their axolotl tankmates but that happens less when they're adults. they like cool water between 60-70 degrees F but 60-64 is considered best and high temperatures will stress em out. they don't like water flow so a gentle filter is necessary. they also can't be kept with gravel no matter what because they can die from accidentally eating it, so bare bottom or sand is the best choice for them. lots of hides, lighting shouldn't be too bright. obviously there's a lot more but that's kinda the basics of them lol.

Thank you! Awesome, so not as complicated as I expected! I'd love a couple of those as well. There are so many pets that I want holy ****. I'm going to end up one of those crazy people with just aquariums and cages lining my home. I can't wait. Just no more crabs. Those little dicks were the bane of my existence.

World of Final Fantasy really could have used a New Game + option. There are so many potentially great Mirages that would never really be used much because they're way too late-game to be useful, and the game doesn't have all that much replayability.

It will take 29 to 46 weeks for me to hit emerald. If I'm right, that's between September 3rd, and December 31st. So I guess even if I get the minimum amount of gems, I'll still hit emerald by the end of the year.

I REALLY enjoyed the game. For just 5 bucks it's a really neat indie horror game and I hate that it's getting this stigma as a bad and generic indie game just because it executed a premise similar to FNaF.

A few months ago, I went to a bird fair. There was this one lady, let's just call her "Buzzard" I was looking at her birds, then she yelled at me "we aren't open yet, go away." I came back 'bout ten minutes or so later. She had parrotlets all in one cage. "Excuse me miss, but did you know that parrotlets kill eachother?" I said in a rather nice matter"You have no control over my business!" She yells. So then all their birds are out at once (the macaws can kill the budgies in an instant!) The macaw bites a guy, the lady plucks a flight feather, before grabbing it and clipping the flight feathers down to the tertiaries, and the tail feathers. It isnt long until I realize, all the birds are like that. I get enraged, although my dad tells me to shut up, I still try to argue. It went something like this.
"Look you buzzard, these birds aren't idiots. It's in their instinct to fly. Flight helps their mind. Flight gives them excerise." "Flight has no use"
"If flight had no purpose then why would it exist?"
"Flight isn't an instinct"
"Flight is in instinct, they know it exists, do you wonder why they bite when you clip? It may be in your instinct to be a buzzard."
Buzzard gives me a bad look.
"I dont want them to fly away..."

After that moment nobody came to that store, but people watched the arguement, it was quite fun to have a five person audience. After we left I felt bad about it, now looking back, I'm proud of what I did. I recently found out that the lady lost the store for animal abuse.
