Hey all. I recently got a PS4 and I was wondering if any of you have any game recommendations? I currently only have two games: The Last Guardian and Uncharted 4. I am also planning to get Horizon: Zero Dawn and possibly the Crash Bandicoot remasters.

I ask that the recommended games are not above the T rating. Even if an M rating does not suit the game, please don't recommend it unless you have a VERY good reason to. I believe that a lot of M rated games are great experiences. I am just not personally a fan of a lot of elements of most M rated games, such as over the top violence.

World of Final Fantasy. If I remember correctly, you like Pokemon, right? This is another monster-collecting RPG kind of like that. Should be E10+.

I do not know your personal tastes. These are games that I enjoyed. So I'm recommending them. You already mentioned Uncharted 4 and The Last Guardian so I won't bring them up again in the list.

Tearaway Unfolded is a port of easily one of my favorite Vita games. While I haven't played it on PS4, I highly doubt too much has changed for the worse. E

FFXV is pretty great from the few bits I've played so far. T

Destiny and it's expansions are pretty great now and make for a robust experience with a lot to do especially if you're into shooters and you have friends with the game. T (at worst you see alien blood)

I will shill Overwatch to my dying day even on console. T

Gravity Rush Remastered isn't a game I've gotten to play in full yet but it's mechanics are spot on. T

Seconding Rocket League and Journey (really all of thatgamecompany's games) as mentioned by wspyro above.

If I had to make any one rated M recommendation right now, it'd probably be Titanfall 2 because it's a high intensity blast of a game.

I'll be trying out Gravity Rush 2 when it comes out so I'll let you know if I recommend that one as well. I played the demo and loved it just as much as I liked the first one on the Vita if not better.

Oh I thought Destiny was M. Welp, TIL.
But yeah, strongly recommend Destiny. I've spent more hours in that game than any other game for the PS4, I believe.

I frequently forget that fact. But vanilla Destiny's box is rated T.

Just a few off the top of my head. Most of these are already out. Gravity Rush 2 comes out tomorrow, KH2.8 comes out next Tuesday, and KH1.5+2.5 comes out at the end of March.

I don't recommend playing KH2.8 until you have at least played Kingdom Hearts 1, Kingdom Hearts 2, and Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep (which are all included in KH1.5+2.5, among other games).

Uncharted 4 actually has the least amount of combat out of any game in the series, so that might have something to do with it.

The blood animations when you shoot people/get shot are also pretty subtle, as opposed to say, Uncharted 1's big clouds of blood.

There are some more gruesome death animations for certain situations, but it's more "implied gore" rather than you actually getting to see what happens to Nate. Any implied dismemberment or the like happens off camera.

Sunset Overdrive

While I haven't finished the game I am having a blast and have gotten more than what I expected.
So I'm going to recommend Gravity Rush 2 as well which is Rated T for Blood, Fantasy Violence, Mild Suggestive Themes, Partial Nudity and Use of Alcohol.
