If I'm typing in all capitals, I'll use Caps Lock, but if it's just for one letter, I'll use Shift.

caps lock is broken on this laptop and causes things to lag like hell or breaks programs

shift for when im super duper serious >;o

Caps lock for when I'm trying to get attention and be annoying more than I usually am.

I remember when I was a kid I absolutely refused to use shift for whatever reason

Like I would press caps lock, type the first letter of a word, and then turn off caps lock every time something needed to be capitalized
