Seriously, is Academy that bad?

It´s the best Videogame cartoon out there and it´s written by Eric Rogers. Even people in the comments say the show is a cashgrab and terrible.

You shouldn't let opposing opinions and comments about Academy stir you up. Users are allowed to express their opinion, even if you don't agree with them.

Because it IS an opinion, Kairi. Not every fan is like Haedox. If I said "I dislike Kingdom Hearts 3" and expressed my opinion why, does that make it a crime?

First off, no, disliking Academy doesn't automatically make this another Haedox situation.

Second, Academy being "the best show ever!" is entirely subjective (not that you would know anything about subjectivity). I like the show, but I don't think it's perfect.

Third, why do you take EVERY. SINGLE. THING that you don't agree with as some kind of an attack?

I don't feel like rustling my jimmies, what did the guy even say about the show? Assuming the got past the pilot, since it's easily what holds back SA the most.

Something about Spyro's face, though I think that was just a one-off joke. He just said he didn't personally enjoy the show despite being a fan of the games, but said that he saw there was faith put into it. I mean, the show was only Number 9 on his list.

Oh, then it's just a meh rating rather than hating it. We really shouldn't blow this out of proportion if that's the case - probably a good thing for cartoons in general when your worst shows of the year list has space for meh instead of being all horrible.

What annoys me is that most complaints on the show is just idiotic. Some say the show is childish, but the show has adult jokes that even PG shows would never use. Spyro is a smart alec with a cocky attitide, but he was actually like that in the original games. Honestly biasm is constantly in the minds of the haters and it does grind my gears when this happens.

I have lost too many favorite shows to haters who managed to actually rally up hate on a lot of my favorite shows for being too similar or just being a fad including and certainly not limited to Digimon, Cardfight Vanguard, Bakugan, Tenkai Knights and even the Beyblade Metal Saga. The sad thing is that now we live in a world where haters genuinely have the power to hurt a franchise just because they hate it. All I can do now is protect my favorite franchises from jerks who selfishly ruin stuff for others who enjoy it.

Keep in mind the shows I mentioned may not have all been because of the reasons I said, but they definitely have been the most mistreated I have seen and I can't stand how biasm seems to actually win more battles nowadays and wish we could just love what we love.

Even still, he got better as a character as time went on. In fact, that's what the first episode is about! He screws up and learns his lesson. He's a way better character by the end of the series. That complaint is dumb

Blind to their nostalgia, it's a common case.

That's what I'm talking about. The fanboys are so mad about Spyro in Skylanders that they don't even realize that Spyro was always like that in the games.
