HOLYCRAP THRILLIPEDE IS REAL!!! I THOUGHT HE WAS SOMTHING THAT PARENTS ARE TELLING TO THIER KIDS LIKE THE TOOTH FAIRY OR SENTA CLAUS, BUT THIS MOTHER****eR IS REALֱ!!!.

Well, they makes these well in advance, so it would be logical Activision would want to divest itself of the stock eventually. They are probably giving retailers a great deal on old game stock they have leftover in anticipation of the rumored end of the yearly iteration. They probably have cases of them gathering dust in a warehouse somewhere. Remember it was likely lack of retailer demand due to clearance that prevented it from coming out widely.

Wow, about time. Good to see Acti is getting these out, finally.

I bet it is old stock that target had in the back room.

The only problem with that is that Thrillipede was never shipped to US Targets. It was supposed to hit Toys R Us stores first but it never even showed up there beyond preorders.

I got him at his first releaae, but this is very cool for everyone who didn't get him. Good luck hunting everyone.

Hm. Hopefully, I can find one to replace my crushed package! I'd gladly swap a Thrillipede/Buzzing combo for one in a non-crushed package. In theory.

I'm surprised to see a Nitro Soda Skimmer right next to it. I have never seen one of those at the store. I had seen a few Nitro Stealth Stingers but not in quite some time. I'll have to check my store out sometime soon but my Target hasn't really stocked up that well on the SCs ever, so I doubt they'd ever get a new supply of them in.

I figured that the inventory of Thrillipedes would be turning up sometime some where. It took a while for the stock of non-Easter Punk Shocks to turn up too. I still have a feeling trap crystals will be turning up especially the yawn traps that we all need. I'm pretty certain that cases of traps of all sorts are merely resting in some warehouse waiting. I was expecting them to turn up at dollar stores by now honestly.

Acti rep told me that they only had a few at acti hq for defective replacements. If thats true then I dont see yawn traps showing up anywhere unless they made more of them.

Went to a TRU today and was surprised to see 8 buzzwings hanging up. I ordered my thrillipede and buzzwing from amazon uk about a month ago because I hadn't seen either in the wild.

Buzzwings have been out for a few weeks now at TRU. They've been on a few major websites as well. I thought perhaps that would get some of the Thrillipedes out but they seem to be still rather limited. Rather strange that. Either way, I got my Buzzwing in a buy one get three free sale from TRU about three weeks ago.

if you didn't get him from toysrus on the first release it's good you can get him now. i'm surprised so many people thought this guy was never released. Toysrus had him on sale 9 months ago or so and featured him online during one of the sales with buzz wing.

I was personally waiting for him to go on fire sale like the rest of the figures that year. I didn't expect him to become limited at all. Honestly I didn't really want him as I wasn't too fond of SuperChargers but at the same time I didn't want him to become Yawn Trap rare and impossible to get.

He really wasn't that rare over in Ireland... emphasis on "wasn't" since I'm not sure now.

My store has a whole bunch of Buzz Wings as always, but still no . Still glad I ordered him when he was available online that day or I would have actually missed my favorite Supercharger.

I don't see the rarity of thrillipede...right now you can buy him brand new on ebay for $18.49 shipped...yes he was only available for a short time through TRU online...but has never been very expensive to pick up....people on skylanders Facebook site have even went as far as saying ..he's as rare as yawn traps...lol no even cheapest yawn you can buy is still around $100 and up!

This makes me wonder...
Is it possible there was a production setback with him? I know we saw a limited number of them, but maybe they were able to catch a problem and still produce some correctly. I know I'm just guessing, but why such a late US store release? It took them a bit to fix Nightfall and that was probably high priority, but maybe they were forced to hold off on Thrillipede.

Activision released these ones a little too late...

I've yet to actually see one in a store. Anyone else actually find him yet or have any other info?
