"Hmm... no, not that I can think of..." Sybil answered, letting Trico decide this time what he wanted to do...

"Again? Oh alright. Let's do it." Sybil said as she hopped on, whispering that first word and hoping he didn't heard. He really must've loved showing off his speed, since that what he did at the beginning and during the last test...

"You can even change worlds? Why didn't you tell me?" she asked, really glad with the change of scenarios. Now this new place looked like her beloved Haven more.

As Sybil held on, she imagined Trico had been waiting for the perfect moment to show off like that. Flying at great speeds was no doubt his favorite thing. But as she was up there at such high velocity didn't stop her from pondering many things. Even if she was having a great time with this guardian, and there was no sign of the annoying Shadow, there was still too many things that worried her. She kept her thoughts to herself though, since she didn't want to ruin Trico's moment.

Sybil wasn't in the mood to explore anything given how tired she was, even in her sleep, so she had a better suggestion.
"We do whatever you want Trico. Go anywhere, or do anything you want Trico. Absolutely anything. You deserve it." Sybil suggested, believing the poor creature never found the chance for fun if he was always taking his guarding duties too seriously.

Sybil was very glad with the change of pace, but now that they were both settled down, it was time for her to reveal what was troubling her.
"Trico... you said that that you have always been there for me... inside me... and that it was only thanks to Crystal that you were able to manifest yourself. Does that mean that... once Shadow's threat is over, you will be gone?" she asked, now really wishing the warblers would take a while to get the wildflower to get to know Trico better, even if it meant putting up with Shadow's threat for a bit longer.

This really made Sybil feel safe and warm. Even though she wasn't one to express or accept such affection, she was in a position where she needed quite a large amount of support. Se had much to thank Crystal for managing to bring Trico to life.
"Well, that... that is so nice to hear.... and hey, what do you mean even when I'm awake?" Sybil asked, only having recently catch up that part. She really doubted he meant that he could acquire physical form, but she was still just as curious.

"Oh, yes, I guessed that." Sybil said with meekness, figuring Trico must work like some sort of conscience as well. As calm and happy as she was right now, she still couldn't get one being out of her mind... no matter how hard she tried...

"So then, if my calculations serve me correctly, it must be around midnight, so we still have some time together... but I just can't stop thinking about that awful Shadow. Sure, he hasn't come so far, but what if it's because he's haunting one of my friends instead? Or worse, if he's preparing some sort of surprise attack now that you're here?" Sybil asked, paranoid, knowing now too well she won't have any peace of mine until Shadow is out of everyone's lives for good.

Sybil was to ask something else, but decided to make that conversation a little more pleasant.
"Do their Guardians look like you?" she asked, looking forward to asking all of those who were blessed how was the night for them.

"Well, that's good to know." Sybil said, now more eager to know what her friend's guardian's looked like. She then had another question about them.

"Are you guardians some fragment of our imagination... or are you spirits that use to exist?" she asked, doubting Trico was something that existed before. He just looked too incredible...

"My imagination?" Sybil said wide eyed, wondering what made her imagine such a strange creature. He was a big, feathered creature, so she was starting to think Sozen had much to do with it.

"Well, if that's the case, I must feel like I need a lot of protection if I imagined you so big. You're even a bit bigger than my friend Cairo, and he's an orca that far bigger than the average one." Sybil said, almost with pride, though it reminded her of that afternoon discussion and wondered how the poor big guy was doing.

"Yeah, I know." Sybil agreed, though still wondering where she got such a mixture of animals. She then saw Trico's paw and could see she was no bigger than one of his own talons.

"Well, this is all gone so great. Not even a tiny hint of Shadow out there. He must truly be afraid of you." Sybil praised, now finally starting to lower her guard down and beginning to trust Trico completely, much like she has done with Crocux.

"Yeah. I figured as much. Which is why I put you to the test." Sybil explained, knowing how annoyingly persistent Shadow was. He wasn't going to be reformed no matter how much she tired. She has so many times already.

"Sorry if I put you through some tests you didn't want to go through. I had to try absolutely everything I could think of that Shadow might try." Sybil then expressed, hoping he would understand. If he knew Shadow the way she did, she knew he would.

As Sybil saw time was moving on rather fast with that conversation, she decided to take advantage of it as much as she could.
"So, if you're part spirit, does this mean you use to be a living being once?" she asked, wanting to know if that was an animal that existed before and that her imagination molded it to what he was right now.

"Mustang? You mean a type of horse? I am still learning about the animals around the world." Sybil expressed, excusing her lack of knowledge.

"Anyway, never mind that. That sounds cool. I suppose you are then chosen to protect another animal. Never thought of it that way, but it's nice. Sorry if my imagination transformed you into such an odd creature." Sybil apologized, knowing he was far too different in physical appearance now.

Crocux had gone back home after the stink cleared up a little and went to sleep. Marina went home still very angry with Jack. when Crocux went to sleep he couldn't help but think about the egg in his dream from the other night and wonder what could be in it. but if he had to guess by gut feeling alone probable a phoenix since Guardian told him about those and how they represented resurrection and rebirth. Crocux was fascinated by the idea of such creatures even if they are made up.

That night as Crocux returned home, he received a surprising, yet not exactly pleasant visit.
"Well well, if it isn't everyone's favorite belly-dragger." Yodel greeted with a sassy tone, pretending to be there by chance.

"I actually quite enjoy it. Having power and the ability to fly is so cool." Trico said.

"Well, I wish I could've had the same luck. You can't begin to imagine how hard it is for me. Luckily, I have some respect thanks to the Haven, but I know many see me as just a tiny, helpless prey or a pitiful creature that always needs saving." Sybil lamented, having regretted many times to be a civet and not a bigger, more useful animal.

"Yes, I know, but even with all my achievements, I will still be viewed as little and helpless. So many times my life is in danger, and I have survived only by either blind luck or because I had a plan up ahead. Not to mention I needed rescuing." Sybil said gloomily, underestimating her own uniqueness.

"Well. I suppose. It's just that I wished I could be taken a little more seriously. My best friends are a pod of orcas, a tiger, a leopard, a dolphin, a chimpanzee and even a crocodile. And also, there is a margay and three mighty eagles. You see? All majestic predators, and then there's... me." Sybil said, finally letting out all the insecurities she felt among her friends.

Sybil simply shrank her shoulders, knowing that size didn't matter. Still, she wished she could've been taken a little more seriously.
"Well, I may not be intimidating or scary, but at least my... meekness has helped me survive. There was this orca who use to work with Shadow you see. Jet. He was so loyal to him, yet my kindness alone was enough to reform him. It's such a shame I couldn't do the same with Shadow." Sybil said, lamenting the fact that she couldn't reach to the Komodo dragon the same way she did to Jet.

Sybil then looked at the horizon, and having visited the dream world several times already, she could tell she had about two hours more with Trico before she would wake up.
"Well, you're right. I just wish I could've been able to change him. So many risks I took trying to reform him. He said that he wanted revenge on Rose for scratching him, but I know there must be more to it than that. That's just a stupid excuse. She was doing it in self defense anyway, and it wasn't even a big scar." Sybil said, clearly with anger.

"But it doesn't matter now. He has missed his chance. And once the warblers retrieve that flower, I'll make sure he's out of our lives forever!" Sybil yelled with a hint of hatred, clearly sick of having to deal with Shadow yet again, even after death.

"I know that now." Sybil said with a little smile. But all that talk about Shadow, she remembered something very important.

"You know, it's strange how Shadow decided to visit me first. Last night, he visited me, and when I asked Rose if she has seen him, she haven't. I think his hatred for me is more than that for Rose." Sybil analyzed, believing Shadow's vendetta drifted more towards her now, though that was no surprise. She was the one that gave him his death sentence after all. She found no other reason to explain it.

"That maybe, but there are still many more who haven't received Crystal's blessing. If she hasn't left the Haven, I should ask her to bless those who Shadow may possibly target." Sybil said, knowing that he wouldn't stop at nothing until he got what he wanted. As she spoke, her body was slowly fading away, indication that she was going to wake up soon...

"Alright then! See ya tonight!" Sybil said. Though she wasn't sure he heard...

When Sybil opened her eyes, it wasn't even morning yet. In fact, it was still night, about 3:00am in the morning. She tried to get back to sleep, but it was no use. Her body has rested all that was necessary. She was a nocturnal creature, so to kill time, she decided to have an early breakfast in order to be ready to tackle the day. She planned to have a long talk with Cairo that morning before her vacation, in order to have him content, and maybe afterwards, she was going to officially resume the orca game, even if the victim was going to be her alone. That was of course, after she gets tired of the cockatoo playground. She trusted that while she had that time off, Rose would be in charge of having Crystal bless those potential Shadow victims.

Raul and Harland followed Sayan, keeping pace with him. Raul's gaze was constantly locked on the speaker, eyes trailing him as he continued to assure him they would arrive at their destination soon. "I am not worried, friend. I trust that you would try your best to find what I seek. Even if we find naught, at least you tried. That alone is a satisfying thought."

Harland's eyes were wandering, constantly exploring the environment. He was ever curious about the world around him, what was going on in it, what he might find within it's darkest reaches. His eyes were flickering into the distance, curious and mystified. Through the trees seemed an almost unrealistic darkness. Part of the wild ass thought perhaps he was imaging that, that his eyes were simply fooling him. Still, he couldn't help but stare, feel an inky darkness rolling around him. He felt his muscles tense up, pausing. He wanted to follow it, see what it was, if anything. However, he couldn't break from the group. He knew Sayan would be upset. With the bound up tension, he continued behind Sayan in strides.

As the time passed and the trio got deeper and deeper... the darkness only seemed to widen as what little light was left soon ceased to exist. Never-the-less... Sayan seemed determined to follow the scent. Perhaps he was simply pleased with the thought of helping another or perhaps he had simply desired some exercise, but he seemed almost unaware of just how dark it had come to be. Suddenly-- the scent seemed to almost disappear as another feeling soon filled his thoughts. He had suddenly gotten the feeling that they were being watched and that they should leave the area.

It seemed strange... almost like a fifth sense and more then just his gut instincts. 'Leave... You are not safe here...,' the thought came again. It was almost as if someone or something was speaking directly into his mind-- and trying to warn him of something. But it couldn't be? He recalled the recent memory of being blessed in what seemed like a quick flashback and then a second or two of something else. Something dark and a brief continuation of the scent he had allowed himself to follow. And then something light which seemed to cause the scent to disappear once again.

He almost appeared in a trance-like stance for a moment... seeming to freeze up and stopping in his tracks.

Sybil was near the tree, hunting lizards. She was tired of eating fish and berries all the time, so she went for a little variety, even if she wasn't that fond of lizards in the first place. Her species ate eggs as well, but she never had in honor of her warbler friends. As she was about to catch a lizard by the tail, she got startled by the sudden movement of brushes. Thanks to her nocturnal eyes, she could see who it was.

"Rose! You scared me. What is it? Can't sleep anymore too?" she asked, actually glad that she wasn't going to spend the rest of the night alone.
