After distracting Trico's own sense for a while, Sybil decided it was time for the strike. Using her paws to move the dirt near Trico's head, she created a red herring in order to make him believe she was about to strike his head, when she actually moved away from his head and was now aiming at his chest. With him all tired up and limited mobility, she had to watch how would he respond to such sneaky attack...

Sybil went for the strike and was now just inches away from his chest. She knew that if he wasn't able to either dodge her or catch her, they would have to practice that procedure more later on...

Sybil smiled, proud of him that he was able to stop her on time, using his own, tied up talons. However, she saw how dangerously close she managed to get to his chest.
"Well done. But that was quite a close call. Maybe we should practice a little bit more later." Sybil suggested, believing Shadow was more successful on sneak attacks than her, so it was vital for the creature to perfect his senses.

Sybil was so far convinced on his abilities, but she still believed he needed a little more polish. Before she would see how his powers worked, she found yet another variable.
"Well, so far so good. A little more practice and indeed you're up for the job..." she did a little pause before continuing...

"But... I must consider every possibility. What if Shadow decides to attack you from... inside? Maybe injecting you with a poison or something? How is your body?" Sybil asked, wanting to know if it was hollow or if he had a similar anatomy to living creatures...

Sybil wasn't sure about that. That was the dream world, so she knew things didn't work the same there. However, she had to make sure Shadow didn't try something like that.
"Well, perhaps not a poison... but something else entirely. He may not be able to destroy you, but he might be able to hurt you regardless. What if something... or someone attacks you from the inside?" Sybil said, not looking forward to what she was about to suggest, but since she still had almost all night to test him, she might as well do it all in one go and keep her mind at ease.

Sybil felt embarrassed for being so insistent around the matter, but having faced Shadow so many times had made her extremely paranoid.
"I really want to believe you... but I dealt with Shadow for nearly three years. You don't know him like I do. You may be able to at least defend me, but you don't know what dirty tricks he may recur to. Just... I need to do this. I just have to make sure." Sybil begged, this last test being more to confront her inner insecurities rather than a practice.

"I think you know what I'm implying." Sybil said quietly, knowing she wasn't going to like it, but it was the only way to keep her inner demons at bay. While it was true that Shadow hasn't visited her so far with Trico there, she wasn't one to take any unecessary chances, especially if Shadow was involved. It wouldn't be the first time Shadow gives the impression of leaving her alone and then attacking all of the sudden.

"It's really no big deal. Here in the dream world, I'm just a proyection. My subconscient can defend itself depending on the harm, but I don't think something like that can harm me that way. I just want to see how your body would react if something was attacking it, and if things get out of hand, well, I'll just have to wake up." Sybil said, trying to assure the poor guardian. She knew the idea was outrageous and even ridiculous, but she had to try absolutely every scenario possible just in case Shadow targeted Trico to get to her.

"Well, then I guess I'll just have to defend myself then." Sybil said, acting as casual as possible. She knew how embarrassed he must feel for her making a suggestion like that, but she believed it was a necessary procedure nonetheless. Since she has been visiting the dream world for some time now, she has some little control over her body's consciousness, and just in case that practice went too far, once she wakes up, her body will leave that place completely and she would be out of harm's way.

"Don't worry about me. If I wake up, I'll leave this place and I won't be hurt anymore. Besides, I have suffered worst in the real world, believe me." Sybil assured, wanting to demonstrate that she really wanted to trust him. She hoped however, that he wasn't feeling forced to proceed.

Even though it wasn't the first time Sybil has been through a situation like that, this time, it felt completely different. Instead of being warm inside, it was incredibly cold. She was starting to regret doing that, not because of herself, but because she could see how Trico really didn't want to do that. I was too late now, and once she stopped sliding down, it was time for the test.
"Well, here I am... I must be crazy, but who could blame me? After all I've been though..." she spoke to herself, though in a quiet tone just in case Trico could still hear her. That place really wasn't what she expected, but then again, that was the dream world, and Trico wasn't an organic being, even though he seemed like it.

"Here I go then. Sorry if I hurt you a bit Trico." Sybil said in her still quiet tone, once again more concerned for him than herself, as she started to claw and bite everything around her and using all her force, since she knew that Shadow could do far more harm than that if he wanted to...

Raul and Harland followed Sayan, keeping pace with him. Raul's gaze was constantly locked on the speaker, eyes trailing him as he continued to assure him they would arrive at their destination soon. "I am not worried, friend. I trust that you would try your best to find what I seek. Even if we find naught, at least you tried. That alone is a satisfying thought."

Harland's eyes were wandering, constantly exploring the environment. He was ever curious about the world around him, what was going on in it, what he might find within it's darkest reaches. His eyes were flickering into the distance, curious and mystified. Through the trees seemed an almost unrealistic darkness. Part of the wild ass thought perhaps he was imaging that, that his eyes were simply fooling him. Still, he couldn't help but stare, feel an inky darkness rolling around him. He felt his muscles tense up, pausing. He wanted to follow it, see what it was, if anything. However, he couldn't break from the group. He knew Sayan would be upset. With the bound up tension, he continued behind Sayan in strides.

AJ: It's been a while, I'm afraid I can't tell you an exact time. At least a couple months, if not more. Still I should stop I suppose, I just really wish they could live with me here as well. I consider them family and they do the same for me, but I'm putting others in danger with my double life. I don't know what to do..." I say curling up into a ball beside Skaliscin.

"Please, I doubt that you'll end up hurting anyone from here. Your dingo friends might get in trouble, but that's their choice. It's not like you're forcing them to do this. As long as everyone involved is fine with it, do what you want. And besides, what the others don't know, won't hurt them. And Sybil's got enough on her plate already, with this python around. You'd be the last thing she worries about."

Skaliscin continued to comfort him until later that day, which she left to allow him to run his errands. She left for her home in the meantime, where she stayed for the night with Voracivenom, and a few of their children. Some were out hunting alone, and Speckles had started to live with the keas in their tree.

There was a slight drizzle that night, and Mambo was using the accumulated water of leaves to take a little shower. Cole as always, was keeping watch nearby, and so far, no python or panic from the warblers, so it really looked like the gigantic snake was going to keep his promise after all. He was more concerned about his sister.

"Hey Boss, have you heard of Cheryl? She seems so concerned about that margay. AJ was it? She saw him heading for the outback the other day and that really got her curious. I told her to stop snooping around. He was probably just following Warren, but you know how she is. That spying thing is more of a Yodel thing. Come to think of it, he left this the afternoon and hasn't come back. That can't be good news." Cole said, suddenly changing subjects. Yodel seemed like a more important topic at the moment, since long absences from him were usually bad news.

"Well... this is new..." Sybil exclaimed, having expected another form of defense. She only wished she could have some powers of her own in order to attack, since she doubted Shadow would be as easily restrained, so she struggled as best as she could, even resorting to tickling in order to get whatever was holding her to loose it's grip...

"Yeah yeah, just a little... restrained." she answered loudly, making it sound like a joke so he wouldn't worry. Those were some pretty strong defenses... at least from where she was standing. She tried to get free many times, but the liquid made her unable to do so. She would've woken up, but she wanted to stay with Trico and continued to train him for as long as she could tolerate...

Sybil waited for a while to respond, still believing she could take those extraordinary circumstances, but after she noticed the liquid was apparently draining the life out of her, she knew it wasn't the time to be proud and recognize when she has reached her limit.
"Yes Trico. That's enough. I want out now." she replied, and just in time since even her voice was restrained, just seconds after talking.

Sybil let out a few coughs before responding.
"Yes, don't worry. I'm alright. Those are some nice defenses. I'm not sure if Shadow would stood as low as to attack you this way, but now I'm sure your body can defend itself quite nicely should the occasion need it." Sybil acclaimed, hoping he wasn't mad at her for making him go through that.

Sybil couldn't think of anything else that Shadow may try, but Trico seemed practically indestructible so far, and before proceeding to the next test, she had to get something off her chest.
"Sorry if you feel forced to this. I promise I won't make you do something like this again." Sybil said, apologizing to the big creature and hoping that wouldn't damage their relationship. Before letting Trico respond to her concern, she spoke again quickly.

"Well then, we tested your defenses, now it's time to see why your powers can do. You can rest here... or do whatever you want, while I prepare different targets for you." Sybil said, as she moved along to explore the dreamy terrain for anything that could work as different targets for him to strike...

It took Sybil a while to apply the information, but almost effortlessly later on, she created different sprites. Some were small, flying around the sky. The others were far bigger and were on the ground. And the rest were medium sized, but they could hide underground.
"Hey, it works. Whadda ya know?" Sybil mutted to herself, quite surprised that she could do that. She usually took a long while, particularly since she barely tried spending her time in the dream world talking with Guardian.

"Well then, imagine Shadow is attacking with an army. Let's see how many sprites you can hit." Sybil instructed, knowing she saved much time using her imagination rather than finding stuff that could work as targets.

"My..." Sybil began to say, but decided to obey him without question. She hopped on, making sure to brace herself this time. She felt kinda bad pulling his feathers like that, but there was no other way to get a grip.

Sybil wondered why he wanted her to guide him, since the intention was if he could handle things himself.
"You really need my help to use your powers? This test is to see if you can do it." Sybil said, though now she wondered if that meant he couldn't use them without her...

OOC: If Shadow can't get at the others directly, he can do it indirectly through me, little AJ.

AJ: After conversing with Skaliscin for a while I feel much better. She is right, only Odette and the other digoes are in danger, but they want this. What the others don't know won't hurt them. I relax and decide that I will continue to live my secret double life, till Odette and the others can all be part of my family as well.

OOC: That's up to Soyroconvexity to decide.

Cheryl had been following the margay for a while, but due to the drizzle that night, she lost him. She was pretty sure he was heading to the outback, a place that Sybil has said many times it was forbidden. Cole was looking for her, since it was against his beliefs to get into someone's life like that, unless you had someone like Yodel, who was usually up to no good.

"Oh... I see." Sybil said, a little worried that Trico depended on her more than she imagined. Which meant that she also needed herself as defense. With Sybil now mounted, Sybil started to guide Trico to the targets. She didn't know what kinds of powers he had, so she settled by simply showing him directions and motivating him to use his senses to detect the underground targets, which were the most dangerous...

Sybil felt weird doing that, but knew it was vital to test him.
"Fire!" she yelled, though it sounded more like a squeal. As she waited for Trico to strike, in her mind, she was thinking many things in that very little time. If Trico needed her to control his powers, what will happen if Shadow managed to capture her? That was a loophole she hoped the Komodo dragon never discovers...

OOC: Well that was predictable

Sybil could see how dangerous that was. The whole ground was destroyed, and the underground targets came flying off from the soil, burned up. The lightning also electrocuted the grounded sprites, destroying them as well. It then took her one simple glance at the airborne sprites and the lightning came running after them as well. It was all over already, and it only took a couple of minutes to have every target gone. After they were all destroyed, they vanished I to thin air, though the soil remained the same.

"Whoa wow. So lightning is your special power? Remind me to stay at your good side." Sybil commented, still holding on to Trico tightly even after all was over.

"Well, you get what I mean." Sybil said with a goofy smile, finally starting to like Trico since he wasn't making her nervous anymore. She couldn't think of anything else for training, and she was still very sleepy since it was barely midnight at the Haven, so she still had half of the time...
