So, my brother talked me into trying LARPing. I half expected it to be cringy and strange but it was actually a lot of fun. I'm the one on the right, and my brother is the one on the left.

As some of you might be able to tell, it was a Witcher LARP. My brother's character was an elf, and he was determined to embody everything people hate in elves. I was a Nilfgaardian knight serving as the bodyguard of the emperor's vogt. We were supposed to collect taxes from the border village that served as the game area, but ended up braving the haunted woods you see behind us in the middle of the night and fighting a leshen.
The game area was amazing, about half a square mile in size, and had this thing in the middle of it. The snowy forest was quiet and very atmospheric, and though there were a couple of non-players walking around the trails even during the later hours of the evening, I wasn't bothered at all.
The photograph was taken by Santeri Kuisma. I know it makes no difference, but I'm supposed to say it if I share these things.

Speaking as someone who has massive self esteem issues and physical dysphoria, I know what its like to feel as though you are unattractive. However there may be people out there who do find your face appealing so don't shoot yourself down so much.
