"Hmm, a hobby perhaps. I use to collect shiny stones, but that's so crow behavior, not to mention I was overcrowding the place and leaving less space fr myself and the flock." Mambo said, recalling his original home. While he was happy there at the Haven, he missed those cold, rocky mountains he use to call home.

"Alright then. Let's go!" Mambo said, eagerly taking off and starting to search for fish. He wasn't a fish catching bird, but then again, Rose wasn't the best of swimmers, and the fish in that lake were very hard to catch. Crocux was the only one who could catch them with so much success.

Crocux wondered what the egg was about but was to busy getting upset at being tricked like that. he turned back and went to his cave and said "that's just cruel aunty."

"Maybe, but come on. You slept a lot already when you were sick. Go outside, stretch your legs, receive the fresh air. It's almost afternoon, but it's still a beautiful day." Sybil instructed, mostly to help him avoid getting fat again. While not very noticeable, Crocux had gained a few pounds during the days with the cold.

Rose started after him and when she reached the lake she jumped in. Her swimming wasn't the best but it was a start.

With Rose's struggle to swim and Mambo's difficulty to keep the is in his talons, the game was pretty even. He then remembered something.
"Oh by the way lass, we'll count points by numbers, not by size." He said, knowing that with the turtle shells so small, they had to keep their catches small as well.

"And two for me." Mambo said cockily, as he grabbed two small fish on his talons. It would've been three, but the one in his beak slipped.

Crocux says "I hulled the heavy stuff for Crystal and ur saying I need exercise." Jack drops from his little hammock saying "it her nice way of saying u gained weight while u were sick so unless u wanna be fat again get some exercise before I take my boredom out on u." Crocux's eyes widened "you wouldn't" Jack says "I would and you know it." Crocux narrowed his eyes at Jack and said "I hate you" Jake responds childishly with "oh I hate you too. now get going. go on shoo." Crocux decided to head to the beach to see Marina and left in that direction.

Before Crocux could go further, Sybil hitched a ride on his tail.
"You need the excercise. I don't." she said cheekily, as she struggled to hold on. With all her running around, doing chores, errands, and arranging meeting, Sybil was in very good shape. As she realized where Crocux was heading, she was tempted to leave him, since she didn't want to face the orcas yet, but she knew she had to do it sooner or later, so she might as well do it now with Crocux as her company.

Rose quickly put her fish in the shell. She then quickly jumped back in searching for more fish.

Mambo started to use the pointy part of his beak to stab and grab more fish, which meant that he didn't have to use his tongue to hold onto it.
"Good thing Mr. Crocux isn't playing this game. He would've beaten us in no time." Mambo said, admiring the time he remembered when Crocux fished in the lake, but also to distract Rose a little.

Mambo could see that she wasn't going to talk while there was a game taking place, so he did the same and continued catching fish. For a bird hat didn't consume them, he was actually rather good in catching them...

OOC: Oh, sorry about that Waaksian. I didn't see the name. Oh well, we'll have to say that Sybil was in such a hurry that she didn't noticed him.

Yeah, I can believe that, since she was sort of occupied at the moment. I would have reminded you that the two haven't been completely absent from her, since Skaliscin was just helping her track down the python a few days ago. But I'll take it that Sybil meant she hadn't had a proper conversation with either of them for a long time.

Voracivenom was in utter confusion at how Sybil completely skimmed over him and his words, failing to notice that he himself was the father. He had outright stated that Coral was his daughter. "I guess it really has been a long time," he thought aloud to himself. "Coral, come with me. We're going to arrange a family meeting."

AJ: I nervously flick my tail as I reply. "A while...I have been living a double life ever since Sholeh moved in with me." My deep, dark midnight blue eyes glisten in the light.

"How long has she been here?" she asked quietly. Skaliscin hadn't started visiting him again until some time after Sholeh had started living with him.

Crocux rolled his eyes at her and kept going. it didn't take him long to reach the beach and he looked around hoping to see the dorsal fine of his beloved bottlenosed mate.

Marina decided to take a stroll through the waters that day but didn't see her Crocodile boyfriend yet.

Sybil saw nervously at the horizon, expecting to see an orca, particularly Cairo, but there was no dorsal fin in sight. They were hunting at the moment. Sybil knew that she would have to face them sooner or later, and as for Crocux, she correctly assumed he was there for Marina. Before she could ask him though, Ami landed right in front of her.

"Hey Mistress. Did yu receive the two residents yet." she asked, with Sybil face palming herself.

"The new residents! Oh darn, it completely slipped my mind!" she said embarrassed, thinking she was a terrible host for forgetting something as important as that. As she was about to leave, the seagull stopped her.

"Not to worry Mistress. Mr. Sayan is showing them around. Don' worry about that. You can meet them later. Right now, it's the orcas I'm worried about... well, not all of them. Particularly Mr. Cairo. He seems really furious." Ami explained, and Sybil knew it all along. She has known him for years, and she suspected it was because she hasn't visited him in quite a long time, when there was much more to that...

"That's four!"

Mambo continued playing, this time without trying to distract her. The fish were getting harder to catch, since it was almost like they now knew about their presence. It was no wonder it was so hard to fish in tht lake.

Crocux saw a dorsa fin and knew it was Marina's so he called out o her "Hey Marina! over here!" She heared him and happly swam over. Marina says to him "hi Crocy where've you been? you had me worried." Crocux says "sorry I got sick and crazy stuff happened but I'm here now"

After Ami left, explaining to Sybil that the orcas were hunting and that they will be back soon, Sybil remained at the beach with Crocux and greeted Marina out of politeness.
"Hey Marina. Long time no see. I hope the orcas are treating you well." she said, knowing the tension there was the last time she was there with the dolphin.

Meanwhile, Sayan continued the tour with Raul and Harland...

Harland glanced back to Sayan as he mentioned consumption of other animals. "Oh, you won't have to worry about that, Sayan. My friend and I are grass eaters. I wouldn't think to try and consume another animal."

Raul exhaled loudly.

"Not that there's anything wrong with meat-eating," added Harland, perking his ears upright. "It's just not in my interest. As long as I've got a frequent source of water and a patch of grass, I'm satisfied."

Raul smiled slightly. "I am fond of grazing quietly," he hummed. His smile widened a little as he added, "If you happen to find any salt concentrates I would be most thankful if I could be made aware of them." He shifted his gaze to the side. "I quite like the taste of pure salt."

"There might be something like that near the wetlands. Come on-- I''ll show you.," Sayan simply said taking the two in a different direction and away from Sybil's meeting. Just in case it had still been going on. Along the way-- they could pass through the forest; and possibly Shaleh or Warren. Maybe later he would get a fish or two, but atlas he proceeded to turn away from the flowing river and thieving fish beneath.

Soon Rose caught 6 more fish. "Are we done yet?"

"You're right, we never estimated the time. Let's do this; once there isn't any more p,ace for fish in the shell, then we'll be done with the game." Mambo said, grabbing three fish as he said so. He was determined to win, so much that he didn't see that he and Rose would soon have company...

Mambo then could see why.
"Well it's no wonder. You're catching the smaller fish." Mambo complained, realizing that he had to get the bigger fish since they were easier to capture. Rose was already a fisher, and she could hold plenty of fish in her mouth, unlike him. He had his talons to compensate, but it still wasn't enough.

Marina smiles "hey Sybil. things between me and the orcas are going well I guess, they kind of try to mind themselves so not much communication yet. oh that reminds me. Jhen's just fine, turns out he got over the incident and is as fun loving as ever." Crocux beamed "oh really that's very good to hear."

"Indeed." Sybil agreed, glad that there were at least some good news under all that tension.

"Anyway, I'll leave you two to talk. I got to deal with the orcas. If Cairo is upset, I better calm him down. I'll be right over there." Sybil expressed, showing where she was going to be, and knowing that she had to solve the problem soon since she knew how dangerous Cairo could be if he was angry for too long.

"I'll be back later Crocux. You still need to exercise." Sybil said, as she poked his belly in a playful way. She could see he was quite prone to fatness, which is why he was the way he was when he first arrived at the Haven. She spent quite a lot of time and energy getting him into shape and she wasn't going to let that go to waste.

"Ah, good. I would much appreciate that," Raul responded with a friendly smile and a shift of the head. "Do lead on."

Harland did not immediately take notice of Raul and Sayan moving away from the area, slow as the movement might have been. His eyes were still locked on the beautiful fish in the river, fascinated by the glistening of their scales and their wiggling of their tails. Then, he glanced up, movement catching his eye. The duo were not too far away, given the casual pace, and Harland didn't need much effort to cover the distance. "Oh! Hey! I'm coming too! Don't leave me behind!" He knew they wouldn't, but he still cried it as le leaped to clear the distance between him and the others.

"Not so fast. We still need to count." Mambo said cockily, still determined to win. He started to count his fish, wishing there could be at least one more than Rose's batch, since he really wanted to beat her.

Crocux says "I will, I will aunty" Marina giggles "you know Crocy you do look good when you're in shape."

As Sybil waited for the orcas further away from Marina and Crocux, she received very unexpected visits.
"Hey Sybil. How have you been? Who's the big dude that gave you a ride?" a voice said. It was none other than Nia, who along with her cousin, followed the two of them to the beach. Nia perched besides her, while Angus took the other side.

"Angus! Nia! Well this is unexpected. Where have you guys been? And why did you come from the direction of the Haven?" Sybil asked, not seeing them when they arrived from Hunted island.

"Oh, we came during that warbler meeting. Then we saw you leave and followed you to that crocodile's place. So it's true then, and a saltwater crocodile no less." Angus answered, having heard about a crocodile resident, but only seeing him well until today. Same with Nia.

"Yeah, we haven't visited for a while. But that's because daddy ordered a playground to be built and wanted us to supervise. It's finished now, so we are allowed to go here. We missed you guys. Wait until you see the new playground." Nia said, wanting to invite everybody to it and show off. Nothing would make Sybil happier, but she had some stuff to deal with first...

"Hmm... I got eleven." Mambo said, lying crossing his mind, but he knew Rose was going to check in case. He pretended to be upset, but one could see a small grin somewhere.

Mambo left her space to investigate, wondering iChat was going to be done afterwards. He kinda felt bad for the poor swimming things, being consumed by so many Haven residents there, but he knew that couldn't be helped. He didn't even know what he was sorry about. That coming from a bird that fed on blood. It was quite ridiculous from his point of view.

Crocux saw the cousins and decided to introduce himself. he walked over and said "why hello their, I don't believe we've met. I'm Crocux, current co-administrator of Haven and this lovely dolphin here is my mate Marina." Marina smiled saying "nice to meet you."

Nia was very happy to have gotten some attention from him, since after inviting Sybil to the playground, she was going to ask her to introduce them to him.
"Hey, I'm Nia. And this is my cousin Angus." she said ecstatically, very exited to meet them both, but Crocux more since she already saw Marina from a distance more than once.

Angus was a bit more nervous around him, being almost as paranoid as his uncle when it came to predators, even if he was much more open to them in comparison. He was more interested in Marina.
"Woah Angus! Look at this! His teeth are bigger than our own heads!" Nia said excitedly, getting very close to him, showing not even an ounce of fear. Angus didn't share the same feeling, as his approach to Marina indicated. It was almost as if he was trying to find some comfort on the dolphin.

"Nia please, don't get weird again. Respect space!" Angus scolded, but Nia completely ignored him. She just continued to inspect his teeth, almost as if she was counting them, and then looked at his vertical, long eyes, pretending to be hypnotized. Angus simply sighed, and even though Sybil didn't know Nia as much as her cousin, she could tell by his annoyance and past experiences that Nia got overexcited when meeting someone new, especially if they were predators.

AJ: It's been a while, I'm afraid I can't tell you an exact time. At least a couple months, if not more. Still I should stop I suppose, I just really wish they could live with me here as well. I consider them family and they do the same for me, but I'm putting others in danger with my double life. I don't know what to do..." I say curling up into a ball beside Skaliscin.

Sunflame yawns and after helping his good friend and roomate, Whirlpool with the medicinal supply. He decides that he should get some rest. Heading to his bed, he lays down, but does not sleep. Most likely however his exhaustion will win over his fear of his nightmares.

Back at Hunted island, Barloc looked with pleasure how perfect the playground looked. Even the adults could have fun in it. He believed it was the best idea he ever had, even though he didn't deserve all the credit. However, he wasn't going to allow any of Sybil's predatory friends enjoy it, since he believed that they would either break the place or the overexcitement will draw them to their primal instincts. Kali was home, very upset with him due to having a very heavy argument about that matter, and instead stayed home to tidy up for her daughter and nephew once they returned... if they did returned today since they had a lot of catching up to do.

"Obviously. You're a fisher and have a big mouth. I don't have either." Mambo commented, pretending to be melancholic just to tease her.

"Oh what a blood-drinking parrot should do?" Mambo said with an air of depression, almost as if he was going to recite a poem...

Mambo then grinned, having expected to annoy her, but instead, he just made her laugh.
"Ha ha, and I was expecting to get a different reaction from you. I guess I underestimated you, you stripey wonder you." Mambo said, gently pulling one of her whiskers in playfulness. Even though he lost, it wasn't by much, and he was happy. He did something that he has never done before and did it well, so he really loved that game.

Mambo flew in circles around her head, teasing her to no end.
"Feeling dizzy? Seeing birdies?" he said playfully, having such a great time with her, it was almost as if time itself has stopped. He hasn't played with Rose in a very long time, and now, he was going to make sure that was a constant occurrence.

"Ohm! Hey, watch the feathers!" Mambo said, sounding like he was scolding her, but even that sounded like playful banter. He was risking missing a few feathers with Rose trying to catch him like that, but he didn't care at all.
