i usually create a character inspired by something/someone i find appealing and build a world around them so they have a purpose besides just existing in my mind

A lot of my OCs started out as RP characters. Now that I'm writing stories based around former RP characters, I'm starting to have an issue where I'm running out of characters to use in RPs because the previous ones now have set worlds, love interests, personalities, etc. I kinda have to start from scratch for character design if I want to RP... X'D

Been working on a story for awhile now. Currently have 30 characters made for it.

Had an old story that's been put on hiatus for awhile now and may never come off of it. Some characters could get retconned from it into new forms later on. Anyway, when it was going it had at least 80 characters that come to mind trying to go through a mental list. Main reason it got put to the side is it had too many characters that led to the plot getting too convoluted.

And there's an additional 7 RP characters that don't have a proper story of their own.

I only have 14 that I use (Leah, Kai, Kami, Nira, Marcus, Freya, Morto, Ollie, Vin, Dayna, Sotall, Una, Caesar, Peristeri)
