Yes, yes, Yes!
"Embrace your rage. Caress your fear. Gorge your hatred. Voice your doubts." "... so that we may feast upon it!" Just an FYI, this is me being chaotic in the sense that I'm no fan of trump, and just want .. "stuff" to happen. In other words, carry on folks, nothing to see here.

If Hillary won, there would be protests too except they would be violent and full of nazis.
This one knows the line between standing up for what is right and anarchy.

Is it though? Even in a protest of people mostly racist, there's someone with an actual reason even if misguided. Even in a protest of people thinking they're doing something right, some people are there to just stir up ****.

That depends on the magnitude of just how bad it is. Quote: Bifrost
There's a lot of factors that went into Hillary losing the election, including meme ****voting, Republicans feeling they didn't have much other choice (sans Johnson), and most of all a feeling of dissatisfaction with the current government and it's establishment, and a desire to see what they consider an "outsider" get in, regardless if it were Bernie or Donald. While the lattermost there may be the most likely to protest of the three, truth be told even they would probably just sit online and complain if Hillary won. The ones that would be out protesting actually would be those racists and far right nationalists. Everyone else would just shrug, say a couple negative comments online, and the world would spin as it does. Or, if those revolutionaries did protest, those racists would shout the loudest and make everyone there look bad. |

Hillary supporters are hypocrites then. They were blasting Trump for saying he wouldn't accept the results if he lost and they go out and do the same thing. Pretty funny.

All of them too. Because everyone who supported Clinton is out there protesting, because they're all a hive mind. /s It's only the craziest, most extreme people out there protesting, and you know why you don't see the rest on the news? Because they stayed home, and are not protesting. Just like if Hillary won and Trump supporters were out there protesting, does that mean that everyone who voted Trump is doing it? No, it's only the most extreme that would be out there protesting, it does not mean everyone is doing it. Saying "they" when talking about the protesters imply that every Hillary supporter is out there rioting, not just the most extreme.

Just saying that at least in NYC the protests have been very peaceful so far. People in Union Square seem to just sorta be hanging out and airing their complaints and supporting each other. Trump Tower is a little more aggressive and even then it's just chanting and one or two bad apples who got into a scuffle with a Trump voter.
EDIT: Also there's a difference between the average joe protesting and complaining about the results and a serious presidential candidate banging his fists on the ground in a tantrum like it was assumed Trump could do. |

While I don't agree with the wall (again, this expensive wall isn't going to do much. Airplanes exist and it will actually makes more of a problem then before)
HOWEVER I do like Trump in the fact that he wants to make life better for the LGBTQ+ community. And if I voted, I would have voted for Trump. I mean lets be real, both Hillary and Trump are terrible people. But Trump (unlike hot and cold Hillary Clinton) isn't going to send us to war with Russia, true he may cause a pretty big dent budget wise with a lame wall but come on WAR VS REALLY REALLY REALLY EXPENSIVE WALL. Obvious choice is obvious

His VP is an ultra conservative right winger, though. He certainly doesn't care for the LGBTQ community. Also, his followers certainly don't care about the gays. He might not specifically say anything against the community, but his followers don't care in the slightest |

Why are you going to stoop to his level? Hillary did so and it tended to make her look just as petty as he was at times, and now she lost. Quote: Windumup
How are you going to get on a plane if you're an illegal immigrant with no passport? Also as said above while Trump is fine with LGBT individuals, the people behind him aren't and they're gonna try and get movements done through him. Also while there's no guarantee it happens, There's fear that Trump will be in Putin's pocket and will mostly sit idly by while Russia steamrolls over Eastern Europe and bullies the rest of the EU (which would start to shatter with Britain leaving and the possibility of a Trump-like PM in France). Obama's America kept Russia at bay, and while Clinton's America might've actually gone to war, Trump's America may just look the other way, which isn't all that great either. This is just theoretical. |

Pence also created an HIV epidemic in the state he was on because he moved investments to said conversion theraphy. Can't recall *what* exactly was done, I heard it on reddit and waa too disgusted to read the sauce(so I could be parroting bull****) but yeah you don't want Trump impeached if this guy is the person taking over.

Trump himself rarely talks about the LGBT community, other than when he said Caitlyn Jenner could use whatever bathroom she wanted in the Trump tower, I can't really think of any other times, but he usually just says positive or supporting things. Pence is totally opposite though, he's an hardcore alt right.
Just found this, Trump supporting LGBT. https://twitter.com/unspectate...731721026674689 I doubt we'll ever see Pence say anything like that, I wonder what he was thinking^ |

Not to get location elitist here, but Trump is from NYC, which has typically been a pretty damn liberal city. And his opinions on various issues has often leaned on the left in the past (he has a history of flipping between parties).
Even when this election really got underway and there were like 20 Republicans, Trump was one of the few who largely didn't care about the LGBT issue, feeling that now that it's law, it shouldn't matter anymore compared to the actual issues. Compare this to the likes of Ted Cruz who actively wanted to repel Marriage Equality. It's just the folks behind him who scare me. These coming years are going to be a test to see if Trump really stands his ground on his beliefs and rejects the more traditional Republican stances, or if he bends to them so he can be on their good side and get reelected in 2020. |

Why isn't anybody feeling bad for Donald Trump? The poor guy clearly realized back in 2015 he was in way over his head, but that quitting would ruing his public image, so he tried to tank his own campaign with tons of divisive rhetoric and behavior... but people didn't care. Now the guy is stuck in a job that he doesn't want and he's going to be miserable for the next four years, all because he cares too much about his brand image to quit (when you can see in videos and photos he looks depressed to be in Washington).
You thought Obama aged badly in the Oval Office... you ain't seen nothing yet. :^)

^He's also been singing a bit of a different tune since meeting with Obama. Perhaps the weight of what he's about to do is really hitting him, and Obama served as a wake up call to what being president is really about.
